    Designated US 129, the road is bordered by the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest with no intersecting roads or driveways to hamper your travel. It’s best to be cautious as the turns are tight, but the Tail of the Dragon is guaranteed to be the ride of your life.

    Drove it in 2007 in my MINI Cooper S. Picture of the poster I got there. There's a national event each year called "MINI's on the Dragon." It's a national event, when I went there was 350 or so MINI's there. A lot of sports car clubs go there each year.

    I did the same. My MINI S had a different pulley on the supercharger to give more boast, Bora exhaust, adjustable camber plates, stiffer rear sway bar, lower and stiffer springs for suspension, lighter wheels sticker tires and a dyno tune.
