If you ever heard it live, you'd disagree. Lipsynched to a Koss boombox.

You're probably right Troy. I'm usually not too impressed with live concerts. If you can't sing the song anymore or need a choir to back you up & don't have one than don't do the song.

OK... Not technically a song, but Chicago, back when they were Chicago Transit Authority...

    "Free Form Guitar"

I have sat down fully focused and hell bent to sit through the entire thing, and have never come close. Personal best is under 60 seconds. Pure torture...
    More later,

Never listened to Milli Vanelli. Weren't they the ones that got busted for lip synching?

The Village People songs weren't all bad including YMCA. And they were certainly different to look at!

BTW Mr. BBL! I now have that damn song stuck in my head thanks to you! If it doesn't leave soon I'm going to have to track you down!

    Blondie's "Rapture":

...Fab Five Freddie told me everybody's fly
DJ's spinning I said my, my
Flash is fast, Flash is cool
Francois sais pas, Flashe no deux
And you don't stop, sure shot
Go out to the parking lot
And you get in your car and you drive real far
And you drive all night and then you see a light
And it comes right down and lands on the ground
And out comes a man from Mars
And you try to run but he's got a gun
And he shoots you dead and he eats your head
And then you're in the man from Mars
You go out at night, eatin' cars
    You eat Cadillacs, Lincolns too
    Mercuries and Subarus
And you don't stop, you keep on eatin' cars
Then, when there's no more cars
You go out at night and eat up bars where the people meet
Face to face, dance cheek to cheek
One to one, man to man
    Dance toe to toe...

After reading this, I had to dig out my vinyl copy of "Synchronicity" and give that "Mother" a listen. After further review, I'm not sure that piece of trash even qualifies as a song. It is truly awful.

I hope it didn't ruin my stylus.

I say we change this - it's easy to pick the worst song by a band or artist you HATE. I will pick the worst song by my favorite band, The Beatles:

All Together Now from the Yellow Submarine Album.

I was spinning the Auto American LP a couple of days ago. The lyrics are a little corny...but were probably apropos for the time...and I actually like the tune. Certainly not a "worst song ever" IMO.
