I'm ok with Sid coming. I don't have a problem if his Mom wants to call me and discuss it with me. I think Sid is a fine lad and wouldn't have any issues.

I would like to see Sid come to the Polkfest and understand Troy's concerns. Seems a bit of trust on both sides will be needed, bottom line it's up to Sid's mom, Troy and Sid. I am willing to give RuSs a hand and suspect many others will be "watching" over him to the point he cant stand it. Maybe one of those "prom" type contracts???

Rock on, its less than six months to the bash of the year.

    Watching over, tripping over, whatever...

Of course the simplest solution may be for Troy to adopt him.

Personally, I look forward to meeting my little bro and hope he brings a pair of homemades or two to audition.

I'll be coming down probably, and I'm driving. So if anyone from Jersey wants to hitch a ride, send me a PM. I'll request the days off tonight when I get into work.

I honestly don't think Sid needs someone looking after him 24/7 like he's a 3 year old. "No Sid, stay out of the cabinets! No Sid, don't touch, I said don't touch!!!" :D

I understand the minor thing though and it is a touchy issue. With alcohol flowing around...

If he's anything like he was at the Polk HQ Tour back in '03, he'll probably sit there quiet with his hands folded and barely speak.

I'm putting my vacation time in NOW at work so I can make this years event. Going to look into flying instead of driving. I have some frequent flyer miles racked up and should be able to get a good price.
    No excuses!

Im a little different, being a Salesman (and growing up) can do that though... but being a salesman the past week or two has really got me out of my "quiet stage" in a sense...

But I dont want people like... "patroling me" - that would suck.

Anyways, my Mom will call you Troy...within the next few weeks...lol

You're almost adult aged, bud. We won't be patroling you. You just can't get all drunked up. Besides, I'm gonna need a driver....;)

There we go. Sid is the designated driver. We need someone to shuttle our drunk asses back to our hotel and kick us out on the curb. Make sure someone at the hotel knows we're on the curb though if you don't mind. ;)

Don't forget, Jesse is still interviewing for a personal "Polk Fest Hair Stylist". There is plenty of time to get your skills in line.

    Sid don't to that..
Sid stay away from those speakers
    Sid get me another beer
Sid rub my feet. :p

Hey this could be fun.. ;)

Hope Trey can be a part of Polkfest this time around. He really wanted to go last year. He's much more mature now than when he first started in this forum. But of course him attending is out of my hands.

Trey, hope it works out when you're able to make it. That's all i gotta say about that.
    PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Can I sleep in the house instead of a hotel? lol...

Id like to make this...very "low budget" - floor, couch, stool - I dont care...

    It looks promising though...

Hope to see you all there.

    There's been a swap/ 4-sale table at every PF I've attended.

Lodging wise, best to write/ call Troy directly...
