You won't like my answer, cause its expensive. A Placette between the pre and amp. It's gonna give you the most "invisable" option...

CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Hey Mark,

    Walnut veneer. Peerless tweeters.

Very conservative 8/10 rating for age only, all corners clean, no scratches or dings, grill cloths clean with no holes or snags and badges intact, original instruction manual (somewhere here.)

    Specs:
    2 x MW6600 drivers
    1 x HF1000 Peerles tweeter
    1 x D-12000-A passive radiator
    Nominal impedance - 4.5 ohms
    Crossover type:
3rd order Gaussian, phase compensated, 3.5 Khz. 2nd order, phase compensated, 3.5 KHz. 3rd order, impedance compensated 400 Hz.

Efficiency not specified in manual. I estimate between 85db and 87db.

I've been using them in the exercise room here in Maryland, driven by my Dynaco ST-70 and Dodd MLP. We're moving to our (now) second home in a couple of months and these can't tag along. Bruce was going to buy them a few of years ago and pick them up at a Polkfest as I recall. He got busy, I got busy, no problem.

Although we haven't had a chance to chat in awhile, you are remembered fondly every time I spin vinyl.

Hope you're enjoying retirement and your wife and daughter are doing great.

    Hey Troy and Joe!

I took a voluntary reassignment for work and we spent most of 2009 deciding where we wanted to live. The clamp is the deal! When I get a moment to listen to music, it's invariably vinyl.

I've been packing some audio items lately. The clamp that came with my table is packed, but I wondered at the time "why do I need this thing any longer?" Just resale. Because your clamp is staying in the rig.

Thanks Joe. I got a Sota Reflex clamp with my Bellavista table. They go for $200+ as I recall. Yours puts it to shame.

LOL! Mike! I had one of those hanging around for over 20 years, I gave it to Michael (Audiobliss).

I saw the Sota clamp not long ago going for $300 but I guess they came down. They really don't do much as far as reflex action goes.

We picked eastern Sarasota County, FL. Sandy's parents live just north of there in Bradenton and the schools are highly rated (we still have the two booger eating morons in the nest.) :p

Are you and the Lovely Wendy still in Charleston?

The Red Sox are south of us a bit (Fort Meyers), the Pirates are just north of us (Bradenton), and, beginning this year, the Orioles are in Sarasota. Baseball is the only sport I've really followed over the years, so I'm looking forward to the opportunities.
