This thread talks about upgrading the SRS crossover to 1.2 by har_navalta: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28032& I'm not concerned with upgrading any drivers right now, just the crossover to 1.2, not 1.2tl.

There is nothing in that thread about upgrading the SRS crossover to a 1.2. It's simply upgrading the stock SRS crossover with better parts, but that doesn't make it a 1.2 crossover. The SRS crossover board and parts are very different than the 1.2.

I am a bit surprised that the reserve hasn't been met.....this is going to be interesting..esp. if 2200 was already offered.......and the seller declined. If they sell for more than 2.2K then we can expect others are going to follow suit in selling theirs. The price is going up and up.....like gas. :D

The seller just called me and said he has a offer of $2500 from someone in North Dallas and his reserve on epay is $3000

If he gets 3K for them the lesser SDAs may follow suit. Makes them more attractive.

GR, set a price, take some pics and provide more info. Look around this forum, there is always interest. Some of us will go way out of our way to get these speakers to a new owner.

Are they SRS or SRS 1.2 or SRS 1.2TL?

Oops nevermind, according to your thread in Vintage Speakers, you have SRS's.

That is a heck of a lot of reserve. Is the supply drying up on the SRS's or what? Why would this seller think that they still command a lofty price like 3k? Whatever, next........

Hope you are on your way from the bay area, I am itching to hook up my newly acquired 1.2's :D

The way I see it this dude came in here and took all our kind advice and thought that he could make a few more bucks and jacked the price way up there....I am glad to see that the Polk lovers of the world know better and kept it realistic as far as bidding goes. I understand capitolism and blah blah blah ,but to much is just greed. Wanna bet they get relisted or sold to the high bidder now.

How much are these worth these days? I'm thinking of getting them. How would I get an interconnect cable?

IC cables are hard to come by if you want to get a Polk Manufactured one. You could make one though, do a search for SDA Interconnect, you'll find the instructions..

Send him an inquiry asking how many drivers and tweeters they have, or ask for a pic with the grille's off. If they are 1C's, they will have four drivers and two tweeters so $400 would be a fair price (based on what I've seen them sell for). If they are 2B's, they will only have two drivers and one tweeter so $400 would be high.

Based on my limited experience (seeing pictures posted here and there) the SRS 2's, 1C's and 2B's have the full length grille covers. The other 'short' SDA series have a small wood panel at the base of the speaker under the grille. His picture on craigslist is dark but it looks like the grille covers are full length.

EDIT: I photoshopped the pic and posted it here.
