wow. i found these locally, well, one city away, and didn't realize you posted these. got them two days later and yes...they look great and the price was right!

well, basically i can listen much louder. obviously. but i didn't think i'd gain this amount of bass from these. sounds clean, source material dependent of course. feel the music in my couch now and in my back, so on and so forth. now i gotta start working on finer-tuning. such as new diy speaker cables. the ones i got in the FM are now too short due to having to change my room set-up.

then to work on the sda's themselves... just the usual suspects here...tweets(I-SIG, i gotta go listen to yours once again) and possibly x-overs...

edit: i do have to admit, part of me still fathoms how 'manly' it'd look to have a monoblock sitting next to EACH speaker! but for now, i'm quite happy with the 5802.

Ya know I was about to say--until I saw your edit---I thought $1k was way high compared to what I've seen some sales go for.
So what is a reasonable price on a set of SRS 2's? Assuming they're stock and not upgraded.

I would send an offer of $ if you really want them. Ask if they have the IC. If not you may be able to bargain some more $ off. I just noticed one pending offer on the listing. The price changed last night right after I posted them. I checked to make sure the link worked in the posting and the price was 1K. I thought to myself WTF The listing keeps getting revised with more info so my guess is someone is pumping the info to the seller.

For your original Question offer $ and see what happens.

Well my offer and counter offer were rejected (so 2 of the offers listed are likely mine)--and they relisted the item with a higher BIN. From $700 to $750 BIN in a totally separate listing, this time as an auction and BIN with a reserve.
They said in the comments in response to a question, that they don't know if they have the interconnect cable as there are many cables behind the system, but my guess is since its not in the pictures and connected, that they probably don't have it.

I really can't stand this game of Auction with reserve and a $1 starting bid. For crying out loud just start the bidding at your reserve-what's the point?

I guess this pair is just not for me, perhaps one day.

Has a listing been created to show the current reasonable pricing on all the SDA models?
Like the one at polksda.com, but current? Or are those prices still current?
How about based on condition?

And more importantly, is there a list of which SDA models are desirable in order of most to least??? For example if I had an opportunity between two different models for about the same price something to tell me to go for one model over another???
