George,those ARE nice,great speakers,good price...ahhhh,life is good.

My "so-called" perfect 2.3's had a nice big water ring on one of the top caps when I went to pick them up,made this observation after driving over 4 hours.

I was a little pissed at first,can't sand out the stain because of the veneer,so I'm having new solid Oak caps made to replace them with.

Even at that,I'm still very happy to have them:D

Thanks Carl,you and Jesse have convinced me to go with the .1 in place of the silver mica,I'm not sure if I'll replace the polyswitch or use a jumper.

Seems like a pretty good deal....I am 100 miles away, so a bit too far to just check them out.....but if there is a serious buyer, I could pick them up and store for a while...

It would be interesting to know how he's been running the SRS's with those amps....not sure you can bridge the grounds, and don't think the SRS's can use the special interconnect....

Concerning those 2.3TL's on eBay. The seller is Travisman, a former Polkie who bought the bass braces from MadMax in '04. Nice of him to offer them here first, eh? Also, note he doesn't mention the cable.

FWIW,,the seller responded regarding the crossovers,, Performed by George Short of North Creek Music,,Solens and 42 L series GE Polyprop. ,,caps are cascaded and hardwired,crimped connections,soldered only @ the crimp,with star grounding throughout.
