frank, what size lift you got on that jeep. i assume it is a suspension lift?

looks Badass. been entertaining the notion of lifting my Jeep and using it more offroad for fun. I was allways surprised with its offraod ability even in stock trim from the day i bought it.

I'm running a Rubicon Express 3.5" lift with recently added 1" rear shackles and a 3/4" front coil spacer. The wheels are Eagle Alloy Series 057 15x8 with a 3.25 backspacing. The tires are 32x11.5x15 BFG MT-KO's. New Bushwacker cut-out flares will go on in the next 7-10 days. All of the remaining trim was removed today in preparation for the flares as well.

Near future upgrades include 4.10 ring and pinions front and rear, lockers too, just not sure which ones yet. Debbie is really leaning on me hard to get off my a$$ and get the 4.7 stroker started too. GAWD I LOVE THAT WOMAN!!:D

This the thread I started a while back when I first began fabbing stuff for it.

    Wow! Awesome Jeep, Frank.

I have (my first car) a 1995 2-door Jeep Cherokee that's bright red. It has 111,000 miles on it and is still running strong. It's been garaged all it's life (and stayed in the same family, too), until I got it. The only bad things with it are a few scratches and a cracked exhaust manifold. Other than that, she runs just as fine as ya please! I couldn't be happier with a first car. I'm on my laptop so I can't post pics, but go to the link in my sig to see photos. I'm going to update that next week (when I get an amp).

EDIT: Oh, and it is four-wheel-drive and automatic. Did I mention I love it? :D

First things first...Thanks for the kind comments!

As far as your manfold is concerned, that's a very common problem. You can find lots of new manifolds for it on ebay but you might want to get a header instead. While your at it, add a FlowMaster 40 muffler. What is it the kids say now? Oh yeah...It's neat-o!!;)

The manifold didn't bother me much at first, as it's not a big deal, but now it's starting to get on my nerves when I hear it going up a hill. Headers..hmm.......that'd be real nice....make it easier to break loose the rear-end and bring it around....;) Flowmaster 40 muffler, eh? What's that do? Does it sound like that '69 Camaro with the 454 I want so bad? :D

And I second ya on that next vehicle. Well, except for maybe that 'next' part.

Well not quite that good, but it does sound better than the OEM muffler and it certainly breaths a lot better.
BTW, Here's a link to the pics of my bumper from raw materials to finished product. Been considering a side biz making and selling 'em.

    Brett,
Nothing definite yet but there seems to be a lot of people begging for Diamler-Chrysler to build it. The 2.8 I-4 Diesel is the same motor that is in the European version of the Liberty and has gotten a lot of really good press. I'd prefer a gas engine but the diesel will work too.
