What a last couple of weeks this has been. I went from having a "junk" room to a new dedicated H/T room. I can't thank my wife enough for putting up with the long hours I've been putting in at the office and then coming home and working on this room until well after midnight. My new Berklines are being delivered on Tuesday and have to idea in hell where I will put them. But anyways, I took some picks this morning so I could show you guys the progress that is being made on the room. Today I will start the finishing process of the drywall.

Alright fellas, these are the last pics I'm going to post until the room is completed. The room has been primed and ready for the final coats of paint. Its funny, the better half doesn't even know what color its going to be. Anyways, carpet is going in hopefully this weekend and then I'll be in the final phase of completing the room. Keep posted to see the final results.

I do how ever have a question for you guys, how would you go about hiding the unsightly sub panel box?

Put your favorite 27X41 movie poster over it. Balance it out with other large items on adjacent walls and enjoy. Easy to take down when needed.

Okay, so I lied. I just had to post pics of the colors I chose so I could hear everyone's opinion. Its not like it would really matter now beings the room is already painted.:D

Colors look great. Room is awesome. I hope your wife will love it.

Can't really tell from the pics, but the panel box may be too low for a poster. Is it in the front or the back or the back of the room? Did you paint over it? If so, that may be all you need to do since the room will have dim lights, it'll be inconspicuous.

Nice...What is that, an Electric Blue? I never thought that a blue could look that good in a HT room. Can't wait to see the finished product.:)

Early B, still undecided on what the hell to do with that sub panel box. Its in the front of the house, but the back of the H/T room if that makes since.

Landry_2000, the blue paint color is Behr, Star Spangled Blue. The grey color is called Behr, Distant Thunder, both avaliable at HD. Took me weeks to decide on what color to paint the room, once I started applying the paint, I thought I was going to regret using those colors, now that the second coat has been applied, absolutely couldn't be happier with the end results.
