Yup. A lot has changed since then too. I remember a huge fireworks display over an open field, while the family was sitting on the hood of my Dad's Oldsmobile. That field is now all concrete and steel, with hundreds of stores. If you sat on the hood of a new car, the hood would be dented. The spirit and pride in America has also changed drastically, something I never imagined would happen as a young lad.
