They are processing them as I got a “thanks but not this time” response.

    Hopefully someone else gets selected

I was declined too. I’m beginning to wonder if they actually want people who use Polk to be part of this survey or if they’re looking for people who are maybe using I don’t know Bose.

I was hoping to get the big boys to replace my SDA SRS1.2’s as I was really busy during the previous sale.
Shot down in flames. Peace. D

Thank you so much for completing the Polk screening survey. I’m sorry to say, on this occasion we haven’t been able to offer you a place in the research.

My name is Norman Stevenson, and I’m leading the research we are doing with Polk. Unfortunately, we have only a limited number of interview places available, and we received a great response with lots of eligible candidates. I have to say, it’s been a tough task to make the small selection and I’m sorry to have to turn anyone away. We really appreciate you completing the survey and were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the Polk community. We’re very happy to be working with such a well-regarded brand.

Thanks again for participating and for being a Polk customer. Sorry we won’t get to include you further in this study.

    All the very best wishes,
    Norman

FWIW, it’s a third party doing the interviews and research so selection is a bit outside polks control (outside providing the criteria by which people are selected)…

@EndersShadow , ^^^ smells an awful lot like Vanilla to me. That seems to be out of Polk's control too.

Not one person from this forum meets the criteria? Ok then.

I looked at the third party companies website before filling out the form. I think the reason none of us were selected is because the future of Polk is more likely to be sound bars and BT speakers than SDA and towers. Just the nature of the beast. Quarter over quarter revenues conquer all.

I feel this as well... Given that Sound United owns Bowers and Wilkins, Polk does not need to try and be anything more than an entry level to perhaps a mid-line company. The L800/Legends/Reserves are likely product areas that are no longer something we will see from Polk going forward.

True but I’ve owned 2 Polk soundboard (and one of them is still in use), and will be buying another for the loft soon (don’t worry, downstairs is never converting lol), so to some extend I am that market

Some third-party review collection agency that doesn't have much interest in "LOYAL" Polk speaker owners but thought to include us complimentarily AND that's ok with me too. I'm glad we were given a heads-up about the input request.

Just like Lowe's or Sam's club have emails in my inbox before I get home asking if I would take a survey of my shopping experiences, but it's a 3rd party agency asking about it. Why not the owners of the businesses I gave my money to?

I just dropped our Spectrum TV contract after 36 years. :o:D Loyalty just ment little raises to my bill every few months and little drops of some channels every 6 months. The customer service person FULLY understood and said ALOT of elderly are turning in thier cable boxes now.

We bought Fire Stick things and are amazed at what we get for the "whole year" compared to "one month" before. We're saving 200.00 a month now and have 16,000 channels to choose from now. We aren't missing one damn channel from what we had before either. From 200 a month to 12.00. B)<3

I don't think Spectrum will even try asking us if there is a chance we'll return to them because they KNOW they're doomed in the TV-providing world now.

16,000 channels? Wow. By the time you go through the guide, it's bedtime. Or the next day. Or the day after that.
