    WTH? The cutoff date for even rates is May 2nd, according to the official FB page.

    The double bed situation, I understand. They only have 30 rooms in the entire hotel with a double bed. They wanted to charge me an "owner's rate", which didn't amount to jack for the second night because they were all taken.

    It took me 4 hours of speaking with lawd knows how many people but I no longer have to move rooms from night one to night two and have a double bed room for the event.....at the event prices (which were CONSIDERABLY lower than owner's rates or regular rates).

    If all else fails, I'm sure we can make accommodations in our room for you. This is unwarranted BS, TBT. Just keep me posted.

    I went ahead and booked using AARP discount, I can cancel if the lower rate comes back or there is a Hilton Doubletree about a mile away with a lower rate and a couple more close with lower rates just can't get as drunk as I would like. :'(
    The room I have on hold now is $362.01 with discount. Hilton Doubletree with breakfest and discount would be under $300.

    I tried looking up the exhibitor list but the list appears to be severely outdated. They have Jolida, Dodd Audio and a couple of others that are no longer around being listed as an exhibitor. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Anyone know where I can find this year's list?

    I have booked for 2 nights but may only be able to come for 1. If I am able to "choose" Friday-to-Saturday or Saturday-to-Sunday, does anyone have a recommendation? (Hopefully the hotel will able be to change my reservation and keep the conference rate, but I'll deal with it.)
