Do you realize we still have invisible links that are the same color as the background?

I have to say, @lightman1's pro tip on using conditioner to keep one's beard silky soft has worked for me!
Otherwise, you'd have to buy that expensive ripoff stuff that is supposedly designed for beards. It's probably the same stuff as conditioner, but with a manly scent like sweat or day old spilled beer or ashtray instead of toasted vanilla creme or whatever.

    Wait, where were we?
    Oh, yeah.
    Vanilla.

The current state of fine-tuning of the Polk forum forumat (see what I did there?) needs a little fine tuning.

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not but even in fully updated Google Chrome browser, since the recent changes they made, no user avatars or posting dates or user names show up in the Recent Discussions page, but they do when you click on a particular thread.

Weird thing is that everything looks normal in Edge or Firefox browsers. I'm on a PC, not a phone.

PS: It was like this all day yesterday and I think the day before but it just went back to normal after I posted this^^ I also made a change in site settings to "allow notifications" but I doubt that would be it and it didn't immediately fix it, so.........

    My profile is still WACK.

Threads I made post's on while the site was fubared has captured my post and every time I click on those threads they have the post I made in the thread prefilled in the "Leave a Comment" box. It is Vanilla site specific as mobile, my laptop and other computers all have it. My posts were made on my work computer, so if it was computer specific none of the others my mobile, my laptop and other friends computers would not have been affected.

I just replicated this. I posted that image, and then when I came back to this thread, it still had that post saved in the leave a comment box, as if it saved a draft of it. What in tarnation, indeed

Has anyone else noticed that the site pages load lightning fast on iPhone browsers, but tremendously slowly on Android browsers?

Side note, Firefox has a dark mode that works nicely in both Android and iPhone, though I still prefer Opera for Android. So many great usability features.

I also like to use Firefox for saving/downloading images from the site, because Chromium based browsers seem to all do that stupid .webp file format.

The site is also showing a new post when you make a post in a thread. FWIW it is your post not a "new" post been doing it about 2-3 weeks now.

Yeah that is super annoying, the new post bit. I haven't noticed odd speeds for Android

Pages load quickly for you on Android, Trey? No stalling, and then content shows up all at once?

The forum hasn't been working correctly for a good while now. Slow loading pages, read threads still showing up as unread, made posts still showing as unposted in the type your comment box, PM notifications showing up DAYS after they were made...the list goes on.
