    Jesse, you're on Android, right? When you me tion slow loading does it seem like the progress bar moves slowly or hangs, and then all of a sudden the page loads?

    I have this experience on multiple Android devices with three different browsers, but lightning fast on iOS.

    I've noticed the other issues with thread read/unread, independent of device, of course.

    That giant plus button gets in the way. At least there's auto draft save, but I've hit that plus button accidentally if not paying attention when intending to post comment.

    Agree that +button is a raging PITA !! It needs moved or gone. I hate it!
    Yes I'm on Android and I notice the hang up suddenly loaded page thing. I just attributed it to wifi or my internet provider.

    Not experiencing the lag you describe @msg, but don’t have Android.

    Also, not having the problems with the ➕ button you described.

    The layout on an iPad or Mac is different (displays in desktop mode, because of the bigger screen), but this is how it looks on mobile for iPhone: ⤵️

    @kex, yeah, on iOS stuff, the pages load with no lag. I like each platform for its benefits, but looks like there's some kind of hiccup with Android devices, either Vanilla-releated or some device configuration or add-on common to other Android users, except Trey maybe?

    I can see where the button may not be an issue on tablets with the larger displays, but it is on smaller mobile devs, especially if the keyboard is up and active. That button really doesn't serve any purpose while a user is typing in the post field. It should disappear until that function is complete.

    Yeah I have no issues with speed on the forum. I run Chrome on mobile, Galaxy ultra 22

    I have no issues with speed either and I am on Android. I think I use Bing. Galaxy S22 Ultra.

    It's Vanilla that everyone experiences issues with. Glitch after glitch, after glitch....

    No speed issues with my Google Pixel 4a, but agree regarding the red button.

    I get it. I think this is actually a pretty good feature, though. Sometimes the spammers get through and post here. Most of the members are savvy enough to know better, but an inadvertent swipe or click could take you to a malicious site without this intermediate step.
