Vegetable gardens are all prepped here and stuff is goin' in slowly but surely. Understand that it is really just getting to be spring here (we had several inches of snow early last week).

Not a pretty picture, nor a very pretty back yard compared to some of the beautiful ones posted in this thread so far, but I still like it. Not really sure how Mrs. H feels about it, though :p She did plant a mess of onions today, though, so there is that.

Photo taken a couple of days ago. Our poor farmer/neighbor tried to put some manure on our back field (which they also hay), but it was too wet so he - wisely - gave up. :|

Didn't even have to click on that one :p
I sing that when I am out turnin' over dirt -- not too loudly, though.

Gourds, mate -- that's the secret to life. Gourds.

    I like this one, too, garden-wise -- although I think it's actually more of a metaphor about s - e - x. ;)

It is a beautiful song, a very good recording... and a pretty good album. I asked Ruth Moody to sign my copy at a Jennys concert one night :)

These are Polywood, and I highly recommend them----but they are pricey. I caught them on a good sale so they weren't too bad. I needed something TOUGH to sit out 24/7 in Arizona Sun.

FWIW, I like those landscaping wall block thingies. I did a little project a couple of years ago and I was pretty pleased with 1) the way it turned out and 2) that it's still standing. I was gonna say still erect but I figured some of y'all'd titter if I did.

Mark, I would LOVE to have one of those... and I don't even have a farm. Handy is an understatement! OMG.

Even a medium Bobcat would be nice at this point. Plus, one can make mega dollars off of one if they know the right folks. (and help out friendly neighbors along the way)

Thanks for the Advice, I found a brand called Breezesta today at a Pool and Spa place they are made by Polywood and you were right pricey but quality throughout Polywood and Breezesta are two of the top sellers.

They were only by appointment only due to the Corona ordeal got an appointment got in and left with $900 dollars worth of Adirondack stuff two chairs and a center table that hooks up to them matches the new Deck perfect. Thanks again for the advice these are a lot nicer than the Trex or Costco brand ones and worth every penny.

I did like 150ft of that same wall block 4 high here a few years back. Added 10-15 years to how my back felt! I thought it would never end! I was going to do it around the front of my house too but I think I'm going to hire a young strapping man to do it when that project takes place.

I spent my Saturday digging all of this rock out of the front of the house to make way for the plethora of pavers that I acquired for a delightful price from work.

This week will be spent laying a new sidewalk. Next week, we start cutting the planters in. Haven’t picked the plants yet. Want lower stuff (<30”) that doesn’t need a lot of sun as this corner is shady most of the day.

Haha...no, that's his backyard.....and what looks to be about a 5 to 600sq.ft. deck extension.

Joe, with the slight incline of the land, you may be required by code to have railings, unless you do this "under the radar". FWIW.

If its less that 30" above grade, he shouldn't require them.

    And that is a church.
I know a steeple when i see one.
The huge stained glass windows are also a dead giveaway.
He is putting an altar on the lower deck Apse.
And finally, he has a Crossing between the Northern and Southern Transept.

    All symptoms of a Church!

Yeah, but here's the thing -- if you buy one new and use it (I mean really use it) for 10 or 15 years, you can turn around and sell it for probably 75% of what you paid for it. Or just keep it. The best names in that equipment hold their value phenomenally well.

Our son in law bought that 48hp Kubota 4WD tractor with the bucket, a 6 foot field mower (as shown in that photo) and a 6 foot (!) tiller for $30k with 84 month 0 APR financing (with 20% down). Well taken care of (and maintenance of the Kubotas is pretty easy and straightforward) it could easily last him his whole life.
