@tonyb, any interest in some Lsi15's? If we can find a way to Polkie express them to you (I'm in SE PA), I can make you a nice deal on a pair that are pretty much mint.

I'm narrowing down the search, so far here's 2 I'm focused on.
1- Revel m16
2- Martin Logan 35xti
Choices choices...I'm leaning a tad bit towards the ML"s as they appear to be a tad bit warmer. Thoughts ?
Probably look for a cheap sub on CL to augment the bottom end, especially for when the wife gets sticky fingers on the volume.Post edited by tonyb onHT SYSTEM-

I wish more manufactures would do this with the binding posts. when they are too close together and you have heavy duty spades, they can touch if your not careful. The spacing on this makes it much nicer.

Those things have seen better days. Worth it for the drivers alone but the cabinets have definitely seen better days. Sun faded, scratched and in general bad shape.
Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
Tony, the Dynaudio Audience 52 or 42 would kick butt and not break the bank.

Picked up some LSI 9's, that's a compromise for her to beat on, and me to have some good sound.HT SYSTEM-

I do, and for the same purpose. Wife beats on them and I have something decent to listen to. Actually, the wife beats on anything musical in the house. Downstairs I have Polk Sig. 20's and an SVS sub used mainly for HT. but the rowing machine is down there to so she cranks it while rowing.
If we are out on the Deck, and she's had a few and her favorite jams come around, everyone in a 2 block radius knows it. Those speakers take a beating probably more than any other, parties and such in the summer.HT SYSTEM-

I gave my girlfriend my LSi-9’s a few years back, then decided to sell all my LSi’s in a package deal about a year ago and told her I’d give her something else. Eventually, she asked me to buy back the 9’s she missed them so much so I did and she’s still rocking them. She said they’re the perfect size for her and she loves the way they sound

I heard a set of hot rodded 9s on a Krell system and they smoke the lsim703, imo. Now a modded 703 may be different- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
