They aren't my idea of an easy load on the bases of those two parameters*... but I
(ahem, still) wanna see the actual measured impedance curve to see if they're really gas guzzlers or just geared kinda tall, so to speak

But of course, phase angles determine how much of a load it is also, not just pure impedance. -

I assume(d) that everyone here who is interested in the issue of a loudspeaker as an amplifier load understands that.

In the DIY speaker forums we frequent, yes for sure, but in here, I tend to see a lot less in depth knowledge of speaker parameters and design.

Your kidding right ? There's people here who know that stuff upside down and backwards. However, very few, who are not into DIY, want to know those things. Most anyone cares about is quality and sound, maybe aesthetics too, because those are the determining factors of buying a speaker, or not, for most people.HT SYSTEM-

Dude, don't feel bad, almost the same thing happened to me - except it was nobody's fault but mine. I was using my ipad for the first time for anything but websurfing - and I ended up wiping out my entire review in somewhat the same manner as you mention your wife did to yours - but in my case it was what I can only describe as a cross between a spaz attack and the complete obliteration of brain function. I always used my Dell laptop for word processing but for some reason known only to the underworld I decided to write the review this time on my ipad - even tho I had no idea what I was doing on an ipad. I "F-bombed" the world and all God's innocent creations more times that I dare to admit. Had to re-write the whole review. The good thing is - your review should be even better the second time.

ZLTFUL, that was a masterful review; better than a lot of "professional" reviews I have read. Thanks for the great detail and clear and effective writing. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it. The speakers sound wonderful; it looks like Polk hit a home run with the L200s.
