    I left the hospital around noon and plan to go back tonight. They say he's doing well. They asked to keep his stimulus low as in periods where he doesn't see family, or, try to speak to him. He keeps trying to talk with the vent tube and that ends up requiring more sedation which requires more meds to keep his BP up. Things are looking promising. He has a long road of recovery ahead. Now they're trying to keep pneumonia from sitting in. That could be fatal.

    I appreciate every ones prayers, kind words and well wishes. What a great bunch of people here.

    Thought the same Joey.... Kerry’s dad it one tough dude to have even made it to the hospital after a hit like that. I would not have wanted to be on his bad side as a kid. o:)

    Well, john, you're right, but I seemed to be on the bad side more often than I cared. He's a small man physically, probably 5'8" and 150 growing up, but, he was the hardest working man I've ever known. Now, at nearly 88, he's about 125 and more frail. He's still tough as nails though. He fell off of a step ladder into a rock garden about 20 feet a few years back and we thought we might lose him then. Fractured his scull and lost the hearing in his right ear, but, that didn't stop him. Fell off another ladder last year trimming a tree in his back yard. Thigh went through the skin and he nearly bled out. We got rid of the ladders, but, it's a tough sell trying to ground him.
