    I’m just glad I joined while it was still a cool place to be a part of even if it was short lived.. I still have a few sets of Ben’s silver cables as well.. Good Times...

    Just over 10 years for me, three temporary bans, a hand full of warnings, I still survived... LOL !!!!

    Darla was a cop down in Florida who was on here......oh, maybe about 5 or 6 years ago. Very friendly and stood out for having a nice system and being the second "consistently" posting woman besides our fixture, Cathy.

    Last I heard, she had roommate issues and then *poof*.

    I remember when we all had titles next to our post count and usernames. There were no avitars back then. When you got to a certain post count, you got to make up your own "title."

    Darla was great. She had an all Von Schweikert HT setup. That was some good stuff.

    She was a bit more than her roommate........

    IIRC, toward the end, they were quite estranged and stuck living in a house together in which they were upside down on a mortgage and could not sell.

    You wake up in the middle of the night wondering wtf Russ is posting about you now.

    When you move a piece of furniture and scratch it, then think....Better call Jesse.

    When you see a woman shaped like a 300b tube and think....Brock would hit it.

    When you see Tequila commercials, while watching Brokeback Mountain, and you immediately think of Tom.

    When you can place members in the movie "Little Rascals".

    When you associate your most hated sports teams with members who love them.

    When you see that freckle faced kid on Mad magazine and wonder if that's John's baby picture.

    BTW...Darla was having some money problems towards the end of her dilemma. I sent her a PM offering to help so she wouldn't be out on the street. Never got a response. She probably thought I was some pervert on the internet, which probably isn't too far off base, but my intentions were still good. :)
