LOL!! You know what, I never thought of it that way.

I called to make a bill payment over the phone one time. I wanted to use my check card but they said they could only take a check by me telling them my routing and account number. I said I was leary of telling somebody over the phone my routing and account number. The operator paused for a second then simply asked, well when you mail a check in how many people do you think see the numbers then? Hmmm....

Ok, this thread was started just under six years back. Last updated around 5 years back. Perfect time for a revival. What say?

Some of the folks are still around, some like Neo, PBD and the OP have either moved on, or are on the way there. The one thing that struck me, going thru the 7 pages was the sense of camaraderie between these guys. There's also some really funny stuff in here.

I can think of three reasons for reviving this thread.

    1. Hopefully it brings guys like Neo, PBD and the OP back here.

    2. It would be fun to see how the regulars, Mac, John, Cody, Audiobliss et al, have 'been domesticated' over six years of marriage, kids, work issues etc. Receeding hairlines, potbellies, you get the pic. Although if you're still into car audio six years down the line, you're still a kid at heart. I'll be 47 this year and I'm kinda hooked. :D

    3. There are some new folks here and this would be a good opportunity put up your mugshots. Front and side on shots holding the white board with your polk membership number on it. If you stick on for a bit here, you're as good as in the slammer. :p:)

    So whats the consensus?

BAAAAHAAAAA OMG, that is hilarious. Hey guys, names Jeff and I usually post on the other side of the Forum, but I lurk here often and have posted a few times. Was into car audio back in the D. A. Y and have always wanted to get back into it, but most of my money goes into my HT. Just thought I would introduce myself. Carry on.

I'm having enough trouble with home audio....if I start fussing over what my car sounds like as well....I'll have no 'career' left...ha, ha.......Pictures of a lot of us are on this site...and can usually be found in various local Polk get-togethers and Polkfests.
