    HDCD "TOOL" discs.

    I was looking for HDCD's on eBay tonight for myself and a friend and noticed a Tool Lateralus HDCD.
    I LOVE the sound of HDCD discs!

    Is this a standard format for all of their discs?

    I guess you need a player that decodes that format to benefit from the extra HD in it. :|

    I know they will play in reg. CD players but the HDCD decoding in capable players sounds so much better to my old ears. REALLY! B)

    So Tony you made me look. I do have the HDCD version, and a regular CD version too! Duh! :smile:

    The HDCD version has a nice Lenticular insert too!

    But, Adam Jones did the spiral "doodle" in the top middle and Danny Carey did the little tool symbol in the lower left corner by his signature.
