Had a C64 for a long time...was still living at home then and had to fight to get to use it LOL.

My Mom love playing a game called Lode runner and she went thru all 100 levels and mastered that game. I know where I got my gaming skills from...As my dad was more like my Pet Rock!

    Potato cannon anyone?
Some acquaintances, made one a couple of years ago. It shot ONLY bowling balls!
They got some altitude and went almost 100 yards. Would not want to get hit with one. Cannonballs anyone?

Freedom! The ability to ride my bike all day long without my parents freaking out where I was every minute. Not just around the block but 30 blocks away.

We also had a fish bowl filled with sea monkeys.

I would sometimes ride from Maplewood to Eagan to visit my grandmother. Other times I would go to Forrest Lake or Stillwater. A nice day, my 1982 Schwinn Voyageur 11.8, a destination, and I was all set.

I rode a million miles on a 10 speed in my teen years. Never once thinking about a bathroom stop.

Now, I'm afraid of riding 2 miles from home and having the urge come on fast. :o:s

Tell me about it. Dad was a big Heathkit guy. Built many projects, but this was his pièce de résistance. I had no idea what he was checking, but was mesmerized by the sinusoidal waves, square waves, et al, on the display!

Those are cool! I love the Sinclair memorabilia! Reminds of back in the day at the Field Museum in Chicago, getting the plastic blow molded dinasour collections from the Mold-o-Rama machines! They are still operating today, IIRC.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

    That's cool!

I never rode one and didn't see hardly any since I grew up in the city.

When I was about 12, I visited somebody and remember us seeing a tractor, a red one, stuck up to its seat in a soft spot in somebody's yard. We thought, we hope there's another tractor to pull that one out! LOL
