Nostalgia: Things You Had Growing Up

I forgot all about this guy. Saw a picture of it today and it instantly took me back. Anyone else have a Merlin? What else you got?

Also the 2XL robot! Yes, I was born in '84 and was not alive for these toys. I grew up in a low income trailer court, our toys were hand me downs or from Goodwill for a long time.

Colecovision! Atari competitor, didn't work out so well. I remember playing Donkey Kong and Zaxxon on that thing for many hours!

Oh, I had a Merlin. Here you go, I took this picture a few years ago. I found a file in the filing cabinet filled with manuals for my handheld toys from when I was a kid. I didn't know it was in there. I think I ended up selling the manuals on eBay.

It's amazing all the things you would never think about for the rest of your life until you see a picture.

Donkey Kong Jr was my kryptonite for awhile....the quest to break 300,000 points between me and my buddies consumed a good part of our youth...lol, but I did prevail.
