    Instant ban :)

    I have suggested a ban on DBT talk here based on how well that works at Hoffman.

    Well put. That is a fact that some folks either don't understand or don't care about and the reason why some folks get a massive backlash when they step out of line.

    I only have one question...what's a tweeter? And can we get a new background? And can we have a wider text area? It's as if the actual area for our threads was meant for an old 800x600 CRT monitor and then it was overlaid onto a modern sized page that has a background picture which takes up 50% of the page.

    that is what the Government wants you to believe. Actually it means;

    "Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a cognitive behavioral treatment that was originally developed to treat chronically suicidal individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and it is now recognized as the gold standard psychological treatment for this population."

  • Thank you all for responding and sharing your thoughts. I have already been in touch with a few of you about changes and clearing things up.

    This is a community and a family. We may have disagreements about how certain things should be run but at the end of the day if everyone respects everyone else then there won't be any issues.

    @Hermitism I have noted the background and that is going to be changed again back to something that is a little less bright.

    The punishments may seem harsh but if everyone respects each other and doesn't personally attack them or their views everything will work out just fine.

    Again, feel free to reach out to me with any issues you have or comments.

    Hi Ken:

    Your singling out this term "respect" hit the nail right on the head. I have received some PM from members that refrain from posting their opinions because of the disrespectful way they feared being treated.

    I am looking forward to a much more civil and respectful forum. I hope your recent actions will not need to be repeated and all the foul language and name calling will fade into the sunset.

    Best regards,

    DuB
