I think you'll be even more pleased with a little toe!

    That's what she said....

    ...and she knows good sound!

Looks great, Jeremy, 'cept I'm thinkin' a little toe-in is in order. At least, in the pic, it looks like the 705s are directed straight out and not optimally.

    Enjoy your new toys! B)

  • They have an inch of toe.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. Nice setup Jeremy. Must really help with dual amps... I'm driving mine with only 1 Yamaha MX1000 at the moment. Have one XPA-3 driving the 703 pair and they sound really sweet, but in a much smaller room (converted bedroom) designated as a 2 channel listening room.
I think I need more power.... but then who doesn't?

Does this sale mean that the LsiM series is coming to a end?

I don't think so... they had one earlier this year and offered more products than are being offered now... but I could be mistaken.

How big was the difference after you moved the speakers to the other room? Both are nice clean looking setups!

It took a bit of time dialing in the toe to reveal the details I wanted. What's nice is the bottom port. The low stuff stayed pretty consistent no matter the toe in. In the front room which is about 12x16, significantly smaller than the family room, the 705s are pretty balanced without sounding flat, very detailed, with a nice snappy thump on bottom. The larger room was good too, but with less punch and a little less dynamic overall really. At this point I am completely satisfied with the sound, everything I throw at them sounds great. Except for maybe Kings of Leon, but that album isn't worth listening to anyways.
