Good thing I invested in the lawnmower.....
Damn you April snow!!!Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!! -
Yeah, you actually got some yesterday, didn't you?
Snowin' here as I type this -- accumulating (but I still think MA is s'posed to get more today than we are). I can barely see the hills out back due to the snow falling.
Back on topic (sort of) that 12 x 13 foot 'toolroom' space looks great! Every time I try to organize a workspace, it ends up looking -- disorganized.
As to those "hang on" mowers -- I see numerous pro landscapers riding those things. They're fast. They look terrifying to me. I assume they have dead man's brakes?

Dead men don't need no stinkin' breaks. lol
Very nice machines you guys have.....and that "toolroom" is about the cleanest tool laboratory your ever going to find. Do you actually use that stuff or is it just for show and tell ?HT SYSTEM-

I'd say we had 4 yesterday that was heavy. (my neighbor Max had 5 in the hills of Northbridge...*snicker*) A lot melted yesterday but was slick this morning. I fell in my driveway. Had to yell to my preggers wife to wait for me as i was slow to get up so she and our daughter didn't suffer the same mistake.
Suppose to get another 3-6 today but most will be gone in the next couple days.
Haven't put down the first Fert treatment as we haven't had the weather yet. I would have felt kinda silly laying it down only to have 6-8" of snow covering it.

I don't have near the tools I used to, we sold our previous home and property, then we had an Auction, where I let go of a lot of "stuff".
When you have such a small space, you have to have a little organization, and yes, I use my tools, arhh, arhh, arhh!

I bought the entire line of Greenworks 80V tools last year and have been very pleased with them, for my modest-sized lawn. Power is just as good as gas, with zero fuss and fast charging.

I know some won't like this, but I just sprayed about 40 gallons of weed killer. I am surrounded by woods on 3 sides and have to keep it under control.

Whats not to like ? Have to keep that insect control and weed control going or the woods will expand and take over. Grubs...hate grubs, try keeping a lawn next to woods. Don't know how the golf courses do it but it's a pain and constant battle keeping the two separated.HT SYSTEM-

Preach it Tony. When crazy elf lady had her house built, they put in some cheap sod in the front. The hacks didn't treat the soil base before they put it down and lo and behold! Crabgrass and grubs! It took me a couple seasons of aeration and treatments to get it right. I got tired of effin with it and hired a trusted landscape service. He and his guys work magic with grass and keep the flower beds up to snuff.
Well worth the coinage.
Now I just stand in the driveway and drink beer. -

Since I back to woods, grubs need to be treated at least twice a year along with other nasties. One year I said...eh screw it, I don't need it, and the next spring it was all mostly dirt left. Took me 3 yrs to make it look decent again and even now I just treated it because it's looking shabby again.
Between weed killer, bug killer, grass seed, fertilizer, ants/spiders/ticks/skeeters.....dang you employee a lot of chemists being a homeowner. Then you have the critters....squirrels both ground and flying, mice, possums, raccoons, Wild-E, Deer, foxes, occasional Bobcat, and the birds too. Herons Hawks Owls Woodpeckers/Bats.....it's like your fighting a losing battle against nature. Maybe I should just move to a cabin in the woods and embrace it all instead of fighting it. Or....just rent a room at Mr. Hardy's joint and let him worry about it.HT SYSTEM-

@tonyb,
You might enjoy reading John McPhee's "The Control of Nature," if you haven't already.Family Room, Innuos Statement streamer (Roon Core) with Morrow Audio USB cable to McIntosh MC 2700 pre with DC2 Digital Audio Module; AQ Sky XLRs to CAT 600.2 dualmono amp, Morrow Elite Speaker Cables to NOLA Baby Grand Reference Gold 3 speakers. Power source for all components: Silver Circle Audio Pure Power One with dedicated 20 amp circuit to main panel.
Exercise Room, Innuos Streamer via Cat 6 cable connection to PS Audio PerfectWave MkII DAC w/Bridge II, AQ King Cobra RCAs to Perreaux PMF3150 amp (fully restored and upgraded by Jeffrey Jackson, Precision Audio Labs), Supra Rondo 4x2.5 Speaker Cables to SDA 1Cs (Vr3 Mods Xovers and other mods.), Dreadnaught with Supra Rondo 4x2.5 interconnect cables by Vr3 Mods. Power for each component from dedicated 20 amp circuit to main panel, except Innuos Statement powered from Silver Circle Audio Pure Power One. -
Maybe, but I don't seek to control it, just co-exist with it. Mother nature is a stubborn b&&ch though.HT SYSTEM-

... or read Wallace Stevens' poem Anecdote of the Jar ;- )

Thanks. I do love the option to use it for more than just mowing grass. Grasshopper has some other cool add-ons. A couple of which I'm trying to come up with an excuse to buy. lol. It's a sickness.HT
