    Everything happens for a reason as they say. I have been using my time to get other projects done which have been on the back burner. Look on the bright side they say. I guess having waited so long to hear the wonderful S5 Mk2's, I will appreciate them so much more when they do finally sing :).

    To each their own. At the very least, playing the speakers would be breaking them in. After your dealer does the setup then you would be able to make a fair and accurate assessment as to whether it improved, degraded, or made no difference.

    Anyway, enjoy whenever you get to them. :)

    @BlueFox @Joey_V , I saw that Adam (Elberoth) is running in his S5 Mk2's with a $1.00 receiver he bought on Ebay. Maybe I should do the same? :|

    I like that guy B) . In my case, it suits me to use my Vitus SCD-025 and SIA-025 to run in my speakers as my cd player only had about 70 hours on it & needs to run in at the same time. Also the SIA-025 can be switched to Class A/B operation to save power.

    Well, something is better than nothing. I remember back in 2000 I was using Napster and a Yamaha computer speaker system, and spending hours glued to the sound. LOL.

    You're right Bud. Admittedly i'm a perfectionist setting up my system. Everything needs to be balanced visually as well as sonically, so a lot of effort goes into isolation, routing cables, cable risers etc. I feel like all that attention to detail pays dividends in sound reproduction.

    Unfortunately i've had to take work home with me this weekend, so it might be a week or two before I get my rig setup, but it will be worth it :).
