If you can't set up a stereo set yourself - bust out the big dogs.

Can't set up the system myself so I'm getting two locals to help me out.

Skip and Halen are busting out to help me out... Let's hope we can actually get some work done here tomorrow.

I think Halen gets paid in beer form and Skip I don't know yet.

Skip is bring 4 integrateds and some wires.

Halen is wanting to compare the Marantz source.

All I want is my gear in 1 piece, no one passed out, and my Strads to be positioned optimally.

    I'm crossing my fingers.

The heavy lifting on the other hand was skip.

Repositioned the strads with my brother. Sounds better to me than earlier. Will work on it some more. Pushed back and toed in differently.

I think I like the sound of the strad at this position. Played with it on the tubes vs SS. Some pros and cons to each.

Overall, I think I have a running consensus in my head.

Overall, I honestly did not like the sounds of the strads from earlier. Skip can attest to how bummed I was.

I need to listen some more but I like this spot better, I think it is more cohesive and has better image density.

I think after today I have a very good idea of where each speaker lies in my head and heart. And I have a decent idea of where I'm at in my journey.

Much thanks go to skip and halen, they really got my room in order.

Also, because of them I have finally decided on the type of seating to have in the room. It will no longer be a single seat. I'm going to have a couch in there. Much easier to hang out with friends.

I would put something on the door.

Room is 18x15, 8ft drop and 9 ft rear.

Need to hang the panels but lots of absorbers, not enough diffusors.

The door has a custom absorber that we have to pull in and out because it is not hung or installed
