Does a company have to pay this legally?

Depends on your employment contract, or absent a contract, whatever is stated in your employer's personnel policies, which should be written and available to you. If there are no written policies, then, perhaps, you received an offer letter that stated your vacation benefits.

In my experience, unless there is an explicit, written policy against payment of accrued vacation to a terminated employee, you should receive it and likely within a specific number of days from the termination of your employment.

If you were terminated for cause, all bets are off.
Family Room, Innuos Statement streamer (Roon Core) with Morrow Audio USB cable to McIntosh MC 2700 pre with DC2 Digital Audio Module; AQ Sky XLRs to CAT 600.2 dualmono amp, Morrow Elite Speaker Cables to NOLA Baby Grand Reference Gold 3 speakers. Power source for all components: Silver Circle Audio Pure Power One with dedicated 20 amp circuit to main panel.

Exercise Room, Innuos Streamer via Cat 6 cable connection to PS Audio PerfectWave MkII DAC w/Bridge II, AQ King Cobra RCAs to Perreaux PMF3150 amp (fully restored and upgraded by Jeffrey Jackson, Precision Audio Labs), Supra Rondo 4x2.5 Speaker Cables to SDA 1Cs (Vr3 Mods Xovers and other mods.), Dreadnaught with Supra Rondo 4x2.5 interconnect cables by Vr3 Mods. Power for each component from dedicated 20 amp circuit to main panel, except Innuos Statement powered from Silver Circle Audio Pure Power One.

I don't think me sitting here jobless is entertainment? Right now i am just opening up my last paycheck and notice that the time I built up for vacation is not included? Maybe because they just rushed it out next day it got overlooked? Does a company have to pay this legally?

No, not if you "accrue" your vacation over the calendar year and have used up that accrual. If you haven't used any vacation then they owe at minimum what you have accrued since January 1st. Sometimes it comes as a separate check. You need to look up your former companies policy to see how vaca is earned.

Ya know, we are like sheep in a herd. This guy posts utter nonsense, we flock to it and give 5 pages of validation to a troll. He loses his job, mocks the company that he worked for and is laughing about his situation. I dont feel one ounce of sorrow for this guy unless the story actually IS made up. If its true seems like he deserves what comes to him. If it isnt true and he made the story up (like all
The others), then that is some sociopathic stuff. This is my last post (and hopefully my last viewing) of a PFB thread

All depends....you have to be familiar with your companies policy. Sometimes vacation time is dependent on you working the whole year, which obviously you didn't. If you were fired for cause, some may still pay out due vacation days, some may not. Call your HR and ask.

Also, shimmy your skinny jeaned butt down to the unemployment office and apply. Most states you can do this online too. At least you'll have something coming in the door.

Btw...you never stated if this was a full time job, part time....or even what kind of job so our responses will assume full time.

Think of how many PFB threads there have been.

Multiply that by the ridiculously large number of pages that each PFB thread drags on for.

Think of how many of us there are who read this drivel, and multiply that by the amount of drivel as we calculated above.

Think of all the human hours of time that have been collectively wasted following the ongoing maniacal ramblings of PFB. These are hours none of us will ever get back, folks....

Shawn you get a kick out of me being kicked while you kick me. I am 100% sure you will have something else to say about something else further down the line so why post what you just did?

This is the clubhouse and I got fired unjustly and right out of the blue for having a pair of balls.

I dont expect anyone to feel bad for me? I never started this thread for pity and why would some one make up crap like they got fired? My job was a full time one and I will get another soon, I dont make up anything on here and you can choose to respond how you like to anything I post.
