The measure of a man is not in his paycheck or even who signs it.

Some of the brightest and best people I know do the most awful jobs from a furniture mover to a trashman.

Some of the worst people I know are employed doing some really impressive things like software developer for weapons systems and Oracle consultants.

If you can't tell anyone about your job because you are embarrassed or something then, again....shenanigans.

Here's a story for you jstas, when I have to parallel park my Porsche outside some place like a restaurant or cafe with tables on the street then I have no room for error. Anyone else gets a free pass from scrutiny but I dont, great driver or not.

You are definitely awesome at getting comments to your posts here at CP:)

I bet you sit at your keyboard and laugh at everyone for giving you advice and wishing you well, etc, etc.

I have no idea who you are or what you do for a living, but I bet you are nothing like the PFB persona you have created here. It's obvious that most of your stories are not true (at least not entirely), but they are entertaining.

Halo I would rather not talk about what I do as its nothing important worth mentioning. I am sure nearly everyone has a better job than me on here. I like to leave my political views and job description at the door when I come here to share my thoughts on audio matters or to trifle all of you guys with my audio mishaps.

If you guys think I am dumb then think about the tv show Fargo and try imagine the real geniuses I work with lol. Many times I have been sitting in the office thinking "Who the hell hired you bunch of big bum bum heads"

You brag about literally everything else, but leave your job out of it because it's not worth mentioning? So far I haven't seen a single post from you "not worth mentioning". You literally brag about every little thing.

    Hypocrite.

    A) That's what valet is for
    B) your car is tiny. If you have no room for error you shouldn't park there, or you're a terrible driver. (but we knew that)

Lets see when I sold him some IC's there was a discussion and I made a "methane" comment thinking he was a farmer of sort and inhaling too many livestock farts. He came all unglued and sent some wacky aggressive PM's to me and called all sorts of names. He thoughts were I was calling him a "meth" head and all of his coworkers were meth heads and he hated working around all of them....then again maybe they were wearing "baggy pants"...who knows the guy is all over the place.

    Fracker is my guess

What the hell are you talking about?

Who cares if jerks in a sidewalk cafe laugh at you because you had troubles parallel parking?

Nobody cares about what you do for a living.

I took a 2nd job doing 2nd shift work at a trash company where all I did was grease and repair hydraulic systems on dump bodies. I crawled all over trucks COVERED in trash and smelled like a sewer at the end of each night. I did it because it paid me well and I needed the cash to get by because my ex-wife was spending money like it was going out of style. She hated the job because I always smelled but it was her behavior that forced me to do it. People laugh at me about it and tell me they would never do that. Well, I did and I didn't have to declare bankruptcy or let my house go to foreclosure because of it....unlike those people who laughed at me for it.

All I can say is delivery of speech is important. I had the same thing happen to me but when I was put in front of my peers I was moved up the ladder to a corporate position within a month. I knew that what I said would seal my faith so I told them what they wanted to hear while placing my own thoughts and observations in like a F'ng ninja.

This thread is a touch disturbing...kind of like a car accident. You want to drive by and ignore it so you don't tie up traffic...but you just HAVE to look. I wish the OP success in his job search.

I still don't understand how PFB's threads hit 4,5, or more pages in two days..

Maybe this is why Reality TV is so big.. You don't need a job you just need your own TV show, it's been proven time and time again that the people will come and watch a good train wreck..

I don't think me sitting here jobless is entertainment? Right now i am just opening up my last paycheck and notice that the time I built up for vacation is not included? Maybe because they just rushed it out next day it got overlooked? Does a company have to pay this legally?

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same.
