I remember commentator Troy Aikman saying it looked like Rudolph MAY HAVE gotten his hand caught in Garrett's helmet and was trying to get it out. Every replay I have seen proves this wasn't the case. In my opinion, Pittsburg should be required to start their third-string quarterback next game.

It was clear in all the replays I saw that Rudolph instigated this mess by trying to rip Garrett's helmet off, then when the situation was reversed, the idiot went after him.The Gear... Browns are my team, but Garrett should have never swung that helmet. Yes Rudolph started it by trying to remove Garrett’s helmet, and he is a punk kid who had it coming, no doubt. (Aikman’s saying his hand may have been caught was so dumb...Troy may have taken too many hits to the head, idk)
Removing a helmet typically doesn’t get one suspended though; flagged and fined.
Of course Garrett could have handled it better, like drop the helmet and put Rudolph on his back.
I totally get he was in the heat of the moment and having two guys coming at you, Garrett reacted/overreacted, and it cost him his season and his paychecks.
Garrett is a superstar talent though and he’ll be back. Rudolph, well, he’ll always be a career backup and we’re coming after him again in two weeks.
