Prayer needed x2

A week ago, I was told that my mother will be going through her 6th fight with Cancer. They found polyps in her neck in the area of her lymph nodes, and they believe the cause to be the radiation/chemo that saved her life some 40 years ago. She tells me they have a treatment plan in place, but I have my doubts, particularly in regards for her desire to keep on fighting. She has been on a feeding tube for almost a decade now, and permanent trach for the past 5 years. She has gotten pretty weak, and is unable to get out much, because every bug she is exposed to lands her back in ICU....


But my BIGGEST fear now is for my beloved Nooshin. This woman has been the very best reason I have for getting out of bed in the morning, and is my soulmate in every possible way. Without her, my world is complete darkness... with her, everything is just that much sweeter....

I am having trouble typing this...

We have been trying for a family for a couple years now, without success. Several months ago, she developed some pain in her side. We did not think much of it, but it never really went away. Her doctor also thought nothing of it, but due to her medical knowledge, she convinced her doctor that testing was in order. Last week, she did some ultrasound, which found nothing. Nooshin pressed her to get an MRI done, and this is where the prayers are needed.

They found abnormal swelling and growth surrounding her colon, and BOTH ovaries. They cannot ID a cause, so we are going in for biopsies next week... and due to my experience with my mother, I am completely terrified. I am usually not the type to share deeply personal stuff on the web like this, but in this case I feel almost as if there is nowhere else to come. I cannot show her even a hint of weakness, even though I am starting to crumble inside from the fear and dread that comes in times like these.

I ask for your prayers....

    I dont know what to say, other than prayers for peace for all of you.

    Its not going to be easy no matter how it all turns out,I hope god sees you all through this as he has done for me.

    There are still lots of bad moments, but they dont cut as deep or come as frequently as they did just a short while back, and it was not that long ago i never would have thought it would get any easier.

    Lean on family, friends anysupport system you have, believe me, going it alone is tough.

    My day so far has been stress upon stress, but that pales to what I know she is going through. Her work as a pharmacist is stressful, and I know the thoughts going through her head are not making life easier. I am debating on whether or not to show her this thread, but I do believe in the power of prayer, and the vibes coming our way because of you guys has at least kept my head from exploding.

    Thanks everyone, and keep 'em coming. I will update with word as soon as we get those results next week. Until then, I will be a lurker, as there are more important things in life than SDA's and audio.
