    Thanks Monk for the kind offer and to all of you for the support. At this time we are all holding up pretty well actually. Tonight, I will be lighting the grill and cooking out... trying to be as normal as possible. My mom is spending the day with her man back in Minnesota. Her surgery is set for July 14th, while Nooshin goes in for her biopsy on Thursday. We will know more soon.

    John, this might sound simplistic, and might not work for you.

    But one day the obsessing and horrible thoughts were pounding in, and after months of non stop grief and worry I just physically looked up and said "Thank you God".

    Immediately I could feel the tension in my neck and the mental strain begin to fall back, at the same time, for the first time in a long time, i could visualise the good and the fun we had as vividly as all the awful that had been forcing itself to the front of my mind.

    It was a heartfelt thanks for all the blessings in my life, the people, the good times, not the least being my 13 and a half years with my angel.

    It still helps me, and now it doesnt have to be to relieve the pain or anxiety, just to be thankful.

    I hope it helps you, and will continue to pray for you all.

    Powerfull stuff. Sometimes we forget when facing tough times, just how blessed we've been in the past. I remember a saying my aunt had in her home that said: "God listens to all prayers; sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes no, and sometimes, not yet."
