Cool. Do I owe you something? -
Hey I was just looking at toolfans handy work, pretty amazing. My question is the back of my 1 speaker where the wood is chipped. Should I just break it off all the way and add that plastic wood that toolfan used and do some touch up paint? Just wondering if that would work?

You can make it look good again if you can get the glue away where he repaired it. He didn't clamp anything and that's why I question the seal. If you redo it, then you can use a black dry erase marker to color in any blemishes left. Its an amazing tool for touching up ash black speakers and furniture. Sharpies leave their ink everywhere, but the dry erase is erasable on smooth surfaces. The only thing that's left is the black where its been damaged.
The pic must be deceiving. He didn't attempt to fix it. There isn't any glue on it or around it. The wood is still attached but loose.. -
I'll try and snap a close up in a bit

Will do. I've already ordered. Hurricane nuts/screws, dynamat and sound barrier and have gotten a ton of great instructions from westmassguy(Dave)
