I never dreamed that I would be posting this album, let alone with a positive review, but I can't stop spinning...

Biggest surprise was how musical many of the tracks are. I definitely will be adding more Iggy to the collection...

I have a pristine copy, with pristine cover, of that album Kelvin. I've been hanging onto it since one got about $600 on the auction site.

    Hi Bruce!

Sweet!!! Mine's the new sundazed version but man does it sound good for an LP recorded 47 years ago. Remastered from analog source and the best mono LP I've ever heard for sound. I just love the young raw Dylan stuff. Plus I'm showing my son Johnny how some of the early harder rock bands like Zeppelin and the Animals and Nazarath expanded on Dylan's blues style and ground out much heavier rock tunes.

Looks like Bruce did one of his semi-annual drive by posts....

Not quite clear of the flood zone as yet. Any interest in a 2-story with a gutted 1st floor?

AfroCuban All Stars- Distinto Differente. This is the best Latin Jazz I've ever heard. It's made by these old Cuban musicians who are Masters with their instrument all coming together. A nice treat.

Do you have the Telarc Boston Symphony version with Pearlman? Best I've heard. My favorite classical piece.

    Amused To Death
They did a wonderful job of recording this album. I am listening to it on my custom monitors. When I first started playing it when the dog barks I heard it coming from the right wall almost ninety degrees from me. The way they recorded this album is really cool. Its like they sent all the cancellation signals to the proper speakers to have an SDA/holography effect. Very nice. Very nice indeed.

An amazing album. The best song for me is "three wishes". Its about a jewish mother in WW2 who tries to kill herself and her kids to escape the ****. However since she doesnt have enough $$ to buy a big bottle of gas, she buys a small bottle of gas. Hence kids die and she survives. The song is from her perspective. There cant be a more powerfull emotional perspective. Would you ever be able to forgive yourself?

8/10 by the end of this song I have tears in my eyes.

    Bryan Ferry - Bete Noire.

Nice mixed CD - very clear.

Bryan is a master of the layered sound - great for demo stuff and evaluating whether your rig can move up and down/ forward and back thru the layers.

Like the album but I'm a bit disappointed with the recording. I've heard it said that it was an excellent recording but I'm not all that impressed...

    Maybe it's just me?
