Too funny.An amp that can even change/correct the off axis response and lobing of a loudspeaker.
I wonder if it can do the same magic with my tax return as with the power figures.225watts> 1000watts of Classe?

This amp can actually travel back in time and make the original musicians and singers perform "better" than they did in the studio during the original recording session, and then go forward in time and present it to you as an improved version. This feature can be easily defeated by depressing the "Time Travel Off" button on the front panel for those times when you prefer to hear the original version.Norh ACA-2B tube pre, Sumo Andromeda SS amp. I can't believe some of the comments here. The amp in question is an Essence Amp. Essence was designed by Dale Pitcher. Dale is a microbiologist by trade and and electronic genius. I have owned one of these amps for over 20 years. And, if you haven't heard one in person, you can't believe what you haven't heard. They are absolutely off the chart incredible. And, the guy who probably posted that ad, his name is Duane Randall. He is THE most knowledgeable people on the planet concerning high end audio. Dale Pitcher also started a company called Intuitive Design, making $50,000.00 speakers. Again: Incredible products. So, all of the people on here, laughing at the praise given to Essence Amps, all I can say is that ignorance is bliss. Those amps are incredible. After owning the amp for about 10 years, I shipped my amp back to Dale and paid him $3,500.00 for an upgrade. When it came back, it was shocked at the improvement. The best was better.
I'm in my 50's. I've listened to systems my entire life. Dale's design was and is still incredible. And, Duane Randall is still the best, most knowledgeable audio salesperson I've ever seen. Whatever he says, I'd believe. Oh, and he's an extremely nice person.

@Hambone1958,
Before you use the cliché "ignorance is bliss," you ought to look at the full thought that contains this clause, which comes from Thomas Gray's "Ode on a Distant Prospect of Eton College."
The full quotation is:
"Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise."
Ignorance is not bliss on this Forum, and it is not "folly to be wise" here.
Rather, you'll find that the folks on this Forum, are -- with few exceptions -- very wise about things audio. And when a member is not wise, he/she tends to solicit help from those who are.
Their wisdom is highly regarded, generously shared, and extremely helpful to those who have less knowledge and experience, and ask for help. I know; to use another cliché, "Been there; done that."
If you want to participate in this Forum and benefit from it, as I have, then you would be wise not to launch your participation with a broadside based on a faulty understanding of a cliché that you find convenient to use to disparage others. This mistake tends to undercut any credibility you would like to enjoy from your initial post.
Just my humble opinion.Family Room, Innuos Statement streamer (Roon Core) with Morrow Audio USB cable to McIntosh MC 2700 pre with DC2 Digital Audio Module; AQ Sky XLRs to CAT 600.2 dualmono amp, Morrow Elite Speaker Cables to NOLA Baby Grand Reference Gold 3 speakers. Power source for all components: Silver Circle Audio Pure Power One with dedicated 20 amp circuit to main panel.
Exercise Room, Innuos Streamer via Cat 6 cable connection to PS Audio PerfectWave MkII DAC w/Bridge II, AQ King Cobra RCAs to Perreaux PMF3150 amp (fully restored and upgraded by Jeffrey Jackson, Precision Audio Labs), Supra Rondo 4x2.5 Speaker Cables to SDA 1Cs (Vr3 Mods Xovers and other mods.), Dreadnaught with Supra Rondo 4x2.5 interconnect cables by Vr3 Mods. Power for each component from dedicated 20 amp circuit to main panel, except Innuos Statement powered from Silver Circle Audio Pure Power One. -
Ignorant: 1. Lacking Knowledge 2. Unaware 3. Resulting from a lack of knowledge. Oh, I don't know... people ranting about an amp that they have never listened to seems a little ignorant to me. Thank you for explaining how thoughtful everyone on this forum is... but I can read.
How about this... I will leave your forum. You and others who write reviews about products you haven't auditioned can continue on with your "highly regarded wisdom". And, I find it quite humorous that I have "undercut any credibility" with my comments, since I seem to be the only one who has ever listened to the amp. I've owned one since the early 1990's. It is so telling that my comments garnered a response from you but people mocking an ad about a product that they didn't know, didn't. For example, one person wrote, "This amp can actually travel back in time........" Is that person trying to be helpful,
informative? Is that wise comment "highly regarded, generously shared, and extremely helpful?" Good grief. -

To funny better than the original studio recordings, time travel off button that's some funny shite right there. How could one dig this old thread up? I wonder who the proud owner is? Let's cut the guy some slack considering the major coin the guy spent on the upgrades, not to include the marble spray paint cans which really add to the mystique of this piece of audio goodness.Home Theater
