    I own a pair of Polk 5Jr+'s with the SL2000 tweets and a Yamaha CR640 amp. I am currently using generic monster cable.

    Boltaction - Do you need an interconnect or speaker cable...the Anti-Cable demo is speaker cable with standard terminations....no Mini-plug demo is readily available.....

    While I am waiting for your final posts, I would like your feelings about how the XLRs (Ethereal & Signal) compare to RCA.s in particular the more expensive ones.
    I saw that you have also signed up for my speaker cable.
    If it is alright with Mark, I will send you out a pair this week that can be then dropped into the Cable Swap rotation.

    Mark if you are out there, is this OK?

    As for XLR vs RCA...

    No real way I can do this, with only one good set of RCAs...

    However, I have DIY Venom RCAs coming sometime this week...I can throw that in a mix...

    Brent - I don't mind that per se, but I don't think it should be a precedent for the program. The point is to keep things objective, and singular, not over stimulated. For example....I will most likely make the AQ demos a singular package, so that the individual may decide whether spending more money on that same brand is really worth it.....along the lines of what we are doing with your video cables.

    Do the benefits outweigh the costs type idea....

    Please handle the transfer with Trey as you see fit, but remember the Ethereal brand, currently has some decent representation in this program.....with ppl ready to demo.

    This isn't a sales project for me, it's a objective opinion project for the forum.

    I just think it sets an odd pace for what the whole intent is here.

    For example, if all the manufacturers available here were just sending cables to everyone....why bother with the program? It turns into a flea market IMO. I think control, in this respect is needed so the individual can make an objective opinion.

    This is something I started for the forum, but by no means am I not open to suggestions.

    If you have a counterpoint, please post your thoughts....and this goes for anyone reading the thread.

    Well -

    This isnt going to change my pace in the program, I try to get things in and out as fast as possible...

    Getting the speaker wire here faster makes it easier on me, and I have no problems sending it right back to Brent...

    If he wants to send Monster cable speaker wire along with it, and if he wants me to send it to Mark, and Mark wants to enter it in the program - no big deal as well...

    Just more things for me to 'shoot out'...

    Speaker wire is cool to me, but that is all I can handle at this point...

    Brent - If you would like to throw some items in the program, by all means, please do so, it is by no means not appreciated. I'll enter them as I am able to do so.

    As a side note, do you have some specs available for the cables that you have in the program, for the "information" part of the demo thread?

    I really try and populate the demo threads with information or tidbits, but time has been tight lately. I apologize for getting your demo review threads more evolved.

    I already promised Vr3MxStyler2k3 the XLR specs so I might as well pull all of them.

    This will probably take me a little over a week.
    I am a slow typer and it will have to be transcribed from the tech. drawing (top secrete stuff, kill upon veiwing etc.)
    I hope to be home from LA on tuesday and will sleep for a day or so.
