    I would send him a message. I am sure the post just expired and he has not refreshed it. My tube amp has 8 pre tubes as does the MS-30L and 4 power tubes. The pre tubes are very in expensive compared to the power tubes. You could replace all 8 for less than one power tube. Send him a message and see what he has in stock. When I was looking in to it he also had a demo model of the 30L but I really wanted the big vu meter of the MS38.

    as a rule the 8 tubes would be cheaper as they noe as sought after as the 12ax7 and 12au7 tubes.

    Greetings
    Just found my way over here today. I have a Yaqin MC-30L and recently did a tube roll to EH6CA7sand a full 6AK5 preamp refit. they are still breaking in as I write this. Noticed a much tighter bass response with the 6AK5s and then added the EH6CA7 matched quads. Picked these up from Tubemeister.

    The tubes that came with this amp took about 80-100 hours to finally open up and sound decent. The roll however made a difference in better articulation and staging. the bass was immediately tighter with the mids and treble sounding a bit wider and cleaner overall.

    I have tried using a combo of the original pre-amp tubes and the 6AK5s but decided to use all 6AK5s for the reasons stated.

    I am hoping after running it for the same amount of time 80-100 hours it will bloom a bit and open up in a similar fashion as a friend's unit who runs the same set up.

    Bias is set at .40. I ran the originals at .38, but prefer the EH adjusted at .40 as they sound best with this bias setting.

    Very happy with it.
    Hardest thing was finding a place to put it.
    It's like 50 lbs.
    I went ahead and got the Phono Preamp that Ray sells too.
    Blue light is too bright
    I have it on SDA 1C plenty of power ,for me.
    I still have to create some more room and burn it in.
    I am going to figure out the motor hum on that old Elac sub something else while.

    I used a drop of blue touchup paint for the car worked perfect. lights but not bright.
