You are an excellent choice Raife! Congratulations for your Polkie of the year awards! Congratulations also to Jesse, Mark, and Russ for their awards. I wish I could have been there to meet you guys, but I didn't have enough time off for the Polk fest AND my brother's wedding. Next year, perhaps.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

This wasn't a hard or lengthy discussion with Polk when Al brought it up on the phone....there's not a soul on the board that's done more or sacrificed more personal endeavor to simply give something back to us lowly Polkies. It's always nice to know that your name will always be attached to work on stickies and historically significant threads. Great job Raife

Well deserved, DK. Your thoroughly researched reviews and projects are always a pleasure to read. Don't think I've ever mentioned it, but "Thanks".

The other gentlemen others have mentioned, Al, F1, Doro, and Russman, certainly must do a lot behind the scenes to keep this cavalcade of calamity on the tracks, somewhat organized, and moving in a positive direction. Not an easy job, but they do well, especially considering the folks they have to deal with. Nice work too, gentlemen.

The damn title should be retired.

There are a hell of a lot of knowledgable, helpful folks here, but has anyone even come close to reaching the bar this guy has set?

By the way, i always assumed raife was ****, no smear or insult, its just that his place is soooo clean, sooooo well appointed with classy art, coolest furnishings.

Then one day i remember him posting about a conversation he had with his dad about figuring out girls, and how they think, how to go about having relationships with them.

Either way, you are the polkie of the decade in my book.
