At Polkfest 2012, VP of Polk Audio All Ballard announced the selection of the Polkie of the Year.

    Congrats DK! For service above and beyond what most of us consider possible! Well deserved.

    The only regret I have besides missing HQs (I've seen many others during my time on the other side of the Pacific, each one fascinating in its own right), is missing a chance to meet Raife firsthand, once I found out he was going to be at the Fest!

    Next time, perhaps?

    FYI, not many of you know but DK has written an "SDA Compendium". He hasn't republished it in a while but it is probably the most complete collection of info on the original SDA lines that one can get.

    Even Stu has one and he was one of the engineering minds behind the SDAs.
