    Polk Monitor 5 Jr: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/ele/d/san-ramon-polk-audio-monitor-5jr-2-way/6882807650.html - $140

Those are actually M5A's with the 8"PR. Check the PR's for cracking / splits. The rubber looks a little warped in spots so I may have gotten hard and cracked.

There appears to be mortite, so I think they have been opened. The tweeters do not have the "polk" hole that I could see, so I wonder if they have been replaced. I forget now if polk did use some without the hole. I remember a discussion on this a while back, but I think that was on the very early models. They at least appear to be actual peerless tweeters, not copies. One appears to have been slightly dented at one time.

They should still sound great. The PR is the biggest concern.

Thanks for the info, but if I bring home another pair of speakers it'll be my nuts in a vice.

That's only the asking price, not the selling price. It's yet to be determined. B)
Yes, basically Monitor 60s, but better with real wood veneer... I hear...

I looked at my for sale thread from March 2014 which has some photos. I had mentioned in that thread that I understood the difference between the t90e and the Monitor 60 was the euro version had real wood veneer (because Euros wouldn’t buy a speaker that had vinyl) but I can’t tell from the photos. Sonically identical to Monitor 60.

The 2.3's in the previous listing are indeed priced high in my opinion, but these on the other hand are priced to move.

    Polk SDA 1 speakers "fully upgraded": https://sacramento.craigslist.org/ele/d/sacramento-polk-sda-1-signature/6899187590.html - $400

"Very nice Polk SDA 1 Signature Speakers. These came out after the SDA-1C and right before the SDA 2. They have been completely upgraded with 4 new RDO-194 tweeters, fully upgraded crossovers with mills resistors and SoniCap capacitors. New binding posts as well. This is hundreds of dollars in upgrades, and they sound amazing. Tops have minor wear, but overall in quite nice condition. Includes original SDA cable."
