Will I hear a BIG diffrence between a SVS PCi 20-39 and my current Sound Dynamics THS-3000. It is a 12" downfiring subwoofer with a 150 watt Mosfet Amp capable of 100 watts RMS. The box is sealed and the specs I found said it could play down to 25Hz.

Remember that my room is about 20x13x7 and the sub is in a corner.

    What do you guys think?

I want a SVS but don't feel like spending the money.

The sound so far without calibrating is first rate and has a sonic presence that has no equal as far as I'm concerned.

No one wants to spend money on gear, but with SVS you get MORE than you pay for. Kberg didn't want to pony up for the PC+ and 10 minutes after hearing it, wondered why he didn't do it sooner.

Ya got that right. And glemay, after a bit of time, you or your significant other (if you have one) won't care. And in my case, over time, my SVS has kept reminding me of how smart I was to spend the extra bones for the 20-39 PC+. :)

Thanks Kberg, but I don't have to worry about the "significant other" since I'm only 15.

Were you initially planning on buying the PC PLUS 20-39?

How do you think a Paradigm subwoofer in the same price range as the PCi 20-39 would perform?

You can end up spending far more money buying and trying to find a good enough sub not to mention all the running around you will do, SVS is the only choice you'll need to make and they are only a phone call away (not a drive). As the old saying goes "how can so many people be so wrong".
