Well tested the biamp... over the weekend... Truthfully no discernible difference except in very high volumes, but thats not even enjoying music at that point... Oh wells, everything is left as is and still enjoying the mod....

Can't wait to get some funds for a mod of the surrounds.....

    Just a notice -

Those of you who have done part of your system with these plates -

I only have FOUR* of the plates from my first batch left...

The next batch will be half the thickness and the rods will no longer be threaded! If you are wanting a "matched" look, I recommend grabbing them while you can!

    Thanks! :)

First off, I'd like to thank Trey for job well done. He quoted me 2 1/2 weeks time door to door and it was only 2 weeks and that's 2,500 miles away!

What an improvement these crossovers make for music. More detailed tighter bass and cleaner sound. Almost all day Saturday I listened to my music from pop rock, jazz and classical. Putting my system in 5 channel stereo was incredible. Then switching it to Pure Audio so I get full range and just the front RtiA7's is a BIG improvement. The tighter bass and detailed sound coming from just running the front's is a big improvement!

I haven't had time to pop in some moves. I've run the YPAO but I want to dial it in with my SPL meter before I pop in my Master and Commander, Avatar and what not to test it out!

Again I can not thank Trey enough for the quality and good service I got on these crossovers! Now the rabbit hole gets deeper... gotta upgrade my sub, get a NAS for my lossless files...maybe an amp!!!

Have you seen the crossovers on the new LSIm's yet? Curious as to the quality of caps used and if one would benefit from a cap upgrade.

Mines didn't come with crossovers. That's optional.

Your crossovers are in the chambers, you would need to remove all the woofers.

I am envisioning the parts are on par with the LSi series, Mylar on the tweeter network and electrolytic midbass and bass. Iron core inductors in the woofer and midbass section, air core tweeter with 5 watt sandcast resistor, maybe some 10 watt on the bass and midbass sections..

Crossovers in the chambers... interesting. Would love to see that layout.

    Huh?

Your 705's have no internal crossover network? Not sure what your talking about.

    Just kidding with you. Lol

Actually there's two seperate crossovers in the towers.

I know you're not ravioli () but I almost called you a dumbass LOL. Glad you were just bustin' my balls.

VR3 - 3 separate networks. Damn that would be expensive to upgrade I'm sure.

Technically there are 5 different networks, it is a 5-way speaker...

Could be as simple as an inductor in the path, but its a network none the less. You could definitely wire that speaker up with 5 sets of posts!

The good news is, on the side panel wall you would have plenty of room to lay out some nice parts looks like.
