Currently in the running....no numbers will be revealed:

    Toolforlifefan
    Heiney9
    George Grand
    Pepster
    Georgedaniel
    Darqueknight
    Gimpod
    Keiko
    KAB
    Schwarcw
    Joeparaski
    Mhardy
    F1Nut

That's everyone so far that I've tallied on my high tech Post-It note beside my computer. I think all of them are worthy in some manner if you research them individually, which I have done for a couple, since I must've missed what they did or simply took it for granted. I really like the list and concur with their nomination.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Agreed. As should DisneyJoe, Ohskigod, and other former PF hosts. But, there can only be one.

That list looks good to me, Mark. What do you want us to do at this point if our candidate is already on the list? Should we still email you or should we wait?

Will there be a more formal selection process, a vote of some sort? Or some group that will make the final selection?

Yes, you should still send your vote as I was just trying to stir up some chatter. A couple names have been added and I'll post another round next week.

The votes are simply being tallied on a Post-It note as it's not rocket science and only like 40 ppl have actually voted. I'm just going to pick the member with the most hashmarks beside their name....easy. I'm not playing favorites as I have no vested interest in this at all. A couple Polkies I would be horrified to see with a lot of votes haven't even been mentioned, even as a joke so I'm quite pleased with it right now.

All of the current roster I have in front of me are genuinely worth the effort and time to vote for or pick your own new person....either way.

The list was just a list, not a ballot sheet. Vote for whomever you want to vote for except me or Russman....or KAB or anyone that works for Polk or under the supervision of Polk.

Polk will just pick the winner based on a brief study of the voting, posting behavior and overall particpation in the forum.
