Nothing in and of itself, except SDA1C has been poking fun at and railing against elitism in the audio realm for quite some time. Seems hypocritical.

Well, guess I owe Laz an appology then, for some reason I thought he dug up this stinker.

Had a feeling this was tongue in cheek big guy, but you did know the responses you'd get so I'm more inclined to think it was a stir the pot type of thing.
BTW, I'm digging the new you. Maybe I never noticed before, but the "love, Jstas" caught me off guard. I like it though. Don't get me wrong, I won't be humping your leg anytime soon, just nice to see is all.

    tonyb,

    Las did necro this thread.

But this thread was never meant to be serious. Just because people took it that way isn't on me. Standing by itself, it's taken out of context. When the thread was made, there was alot of talk from various butt tubas here about the end of times and what it all means. Most of it started because of that **** trumpet who thought the world was gonna end in May and when it didn't, he stammered out some excuse that his math was wrong a re-predicted the end in June. Several morons in the world believed this guy and did stuff like gave away their houses and possessions because they "wouldn't need them." Dunno where they thought they were going but I'd be willing to bet Bill Gate's entire fortune that they never thought it'd be the poorhouse.

Leg humping? That's doro's job. He's a jealous lover so watch your back.

    BeefJerky,

You do not have to tell everyone you reported spam. You weren't the first one even though your narcissistic tendencies lead you to believe that you were. Next time, just report the spam and don't post about it. Your post about reporting spam is just as bad if not worse than the actual spam. Plus, it makes you look like the snot nosed nerd that sits at the front of the class and tells the teacher at 2pm on Friday that she forgot to assign us all homework.

Jstas is right, neither you nor anyone else needs to post that you have reported a spam post. Simply report it to a mod and they will take care of it.

Me thinking logically (which sometimes may lead to idiotic thoughts, granted) I thought that someone was to post that they reported it so that the mods don't get 10 to 20 people reporting the same spam post. That's why I thought people said they reported it (not sure peoples' actual reason(s) though), and why I have done it in the past. If it is not necessary I will discontinue saying I reported it.

If Jstas had said it in a polite manner such as that, I wouldn't have responded the way I did. However, I would never expect anything that refined from him.

That being said, it's hard to take you very seriously when there are other forum "elders" posting that they've reported spam, yet nothing is said to them. However, I realize that they are part of your "elite" club, so to call them out would just be so uncouth.

    headrott,

I was once a moderator as well. I don't want the job. Mainly because even if YOU post that you reported it, there will 100 reports prior to yours and at least 10 illiterate reports after yours every single time. Without fail. The help is appreciated but posting that the post was reported just makes double work for a mod that is typically not getting paid. If your post is not removed, it leaves an ugly scar in an otherwise pretty little functioning thread.

    BeefJerky,

I was polite. Relatively speaking. Wish I could be as cool as you are though. You seem to be SUPER popular with all the cool kids here. But honestly, it's hard to take you seriously when you use terms like "forum elders". That's just silly. And, again, nothing was said to them because they didn't post in my thread and subject themselves to my mocking. They know better. I've taught them well. I also highly doubt that anyone led you to believe anything. Judging by the way your typical reception here goes, nobody particularly enjoys talking to you. So I have to assume that your assumed the ideal behind what you are doing is congruent with what you believe the ideal is for others. That's cute.

    Love,
    Jstas

    mantis,

You need to go back much farther than 2006 to stop the madness. Also, depends on what madness you want to stop. Financial disaster? 1996 at least. Terrorism problem? 1979 at least. The voices in your head? When's your birthday again?

Nope, but that is where common sense kicks in. Jumping off a bridge endangers my life, however, posting that I reported a post does not. In other words, it's an absurd and inaccurate analogy.
Also, those people look like thundering morons as well.
It's clear that you have that view about every person in the world aside fromm yourself, so it really means nothing.
They just didn't do it in my thread where I could mock them for it.
This is a public forum not owned by you, therefore you don't actually own or control any threads.

I suppose by your standards that might be considered "polite," however, by real world standards it would not be.
Wish I could be as cool as you are though. You seem to be SUPER popular with all the cool kids here.
Just like in grade school, the "cool kids" here are mostly immature imbeciles. There are a few exceptions, but not many. Due to their mentality, I have no need or desire to be liked by them.
But honestly, it's hard to take you seriously when you use terms like "forum elders". That's just silly.
And, it's hard to take you seriously because, well, you're you.
And, again, nothing was said to them because they didn't post in my thread and subject themselves to my mocking.
Again, you don't own this, or any other thread; get over yourself.
They know better. I've taught them well.
Wow, you're more full of yourself than Kanye West, and almost as mature.
I also highly doubt that anyone led you to believe anything.
That's okay. Your doubts mean nothing to me.
Judging by the way your typical reception here goes, nobody particularly enjoys talking to you.
That is mostly by the aforementioned immature "cool kids," so I don't care what they think.
So I have to assume that your assumed the ideal behind what you are doing is congruent with what you believe the ideal is for others. That's cute.
I'm going to assume that you misused the word "your," and actually meant to use the word "you." As for my assumption on reporting posts, I was led to believe the same thing as headrott. However, I have been informed (in a polite manner by F1nut) that I was wrong on that account, so I will no longer post about reports I've made.

I was curious as to why a world ending thread kept popping up at the top, just as it will now, so I got on here to take a look at what was the big deal. Nothing?!

I just got a special delivery from Beaumont a glorious 6 pack of Lone Star Beer. I haven't had the taste of this since I was a kid! (In Texas it was just fine for us kids to have a beer or two and leave the grownups alone).
This beer goes great with the popcorn show going on here.

So before the end of the world, Lone Star Beer it is tonight, yeah boyyeeeee.

This thread reads like a sitcom left on in the background while cooking ramen noodles and left over pork rinds and not even being hungry or the slightest bit interested.
