    Any updates? I hope it wan't supposed to ship today or tomorrow, just talked to my mom, (SE Iowa) and she said it was white out conditions!!

    I think they still have final assembly for their products in their US factory. At least the email I got from them about the delay in Ultra 13 shipment sounded like they were waiting for drivers and amps but had cabinets ready to go at their factory.

    Yep, says it right on their site, "The PB13-Ultra…proudly built in our own US factory with the best quality components, and only available at SVS the Sound Authority."

    I do agree SVS has shown upward trends on their prices, but at least they seem to jump with actual changes in their components, like the new ultra 13 driver or the new beefier amp in the latest model.

    Yeah he responded Friday or Monday and said he was unsure of why it had not gone out as it was done Monday. It was boxed up and ready to go, it shipped this Monday and will here Thursday according to ceded. So no biggie I just like a constant line of communication.

    Anyways,
    I will definitely keep you up to date on what is going on.

    I just ordered an A2-300 a few days ago. I was told 2 weeks, but from your ordeal, sounds like I will be waiting longer. Hopefully the wait is worth it...

    Yep I was supposed to get an amp I ordered for the new end table sub I'm building. But it came a day late because Fedex shut down on Tuesday after a Fedex rig jack knifed here in the morning.

    Well gents.. good news and bad news...

    Good news? I got the sub, it is built like a freakin tank. Way better build and finish than the Epik. The driver looks to be much nicer too.

    Bad news? Something is wrong with my Candela... so cant really tell you guys how it sounds. Sorry

    The issue is that when my mains and sub are both hooked up I lose volume and clarity

    I am going to plug this up to the lfe out on my pioneer elite and see whatnkind of ht performance it has... Will give a review by Wednesday.

    running a ported nht subonei 12in 250 watt with crossover set at 40 no boom just very tight smooth bottom, with 2 channel, chage to 65 in ht mode, seems to work well

    Well I watched a movie last night...

    I know this is not much of a review... alot of bass you can hear with none you can feel.

    What I can gather the sub is very fast but lacks tone.

    Seems to be a problem I experience with any subwoofer except those Tyler Acoustics subs -- no texture or variations in the tone above 30hz...

    This may work for my application as I am looking for 40hz and below... I just have to get my preamp fixed.

    Anyways..

    I don't think sneaking tubes anywhere to any of us is a nice thing to do. From what I understand tubes are about as addictive as heroine, and more expensive. Quit trying to destroy his life!!

    Id like to retract some previous statements.

    I put this sub in the corner my VMPS was in, calibrated it in and WOW.

    What an impressive subwoofer for 450 bucks and a 10" driver. Authorative, clean, deep
