T-Nuts SUCK! All this work to make something nice and T-Nuts are OK with you. NOT!

Why would anyone need rings for the spikes? If your speakers didn't come with threaded inserts, simply buy 1/4-20 T-nuts and call it a day.

Before the run sells out, I'd like to get in line for 2 sets for a pair of 2B's. I assume the screw holes will line up with the 198 tweeters? (I'm gearing up to do the TL mod.)

Also, Larry, I sent you a PM about a full set of rings for the 2B's as well if you still have 4 MW rings and 2 passives. This rocks! Thanks!!!

I am dumbfounded that you regard my opinions so highly. Hold on brother.

I do not like them. I do not like them Sam-I-Am. You have your opinions, and so do I.

I do not like T-Nuts. Quick and easy, yes. Will they get the job done, yes. You can do better. You have with every other mod on your speakers,,, or have you? This is why Larry made the Rings, or at least one reason I would think.

Wow, let down huh? Still got a pulse?

It's obvious that you don't understand the purpose of the rings or the purpose of the spikes, so I'll explain it to you. The purpose of the rings is to couple the baskets to the cabinet. The purpose of the spikes is to decouple the cabinet from the floor. Additionally, the spikes do not go thru the cabinet wall, they are attached to the base board, which in turn is bolted thru the cabinet wall. Therefore, your opinion on the matter is without merit as is your attitude.

Oh boy ,,,, so much for "me" having a strong opinion on T-Nuts. It is obvious that I do not agree that T-Nuts are the best way. It is also obvious that you are very busy dying to be right.

    T-Nuts, I do not like them Sam-I-Am.

For someone with such a strong opinion you don't seem to be able to relate how and why you formed that opinion. Nor have you been able to offer a better alternative.

It's not a matter of me being right as I'm always open to learning new info concerning all things audio related. It is a matter of you not understanding the purpose of the rings or the spikes and the fact that you are evidently unable to express yourself without resorting to wise crack comments that have no bearing on the topic at hand.

does your laser microtab to keep parts from tipping up and killing the head? when we got our bystronic with microtabbing, it was a godsend over our cincinnati that did not. then you can really cut thin parts close together. another thing, dunno if ya'll have liquid nitrogen available as assist gas. we switched over to that over oxygen and it leaves no scale. the cut is clean as though it was polished. we had to because our powdercoat would sometimes flake off when the lasered edges would de-scale. it also keeps the part cool so you can pack 'em tight like sardines, that is, if you're not already common-cutting.
