Just an FYI, I will have for sale at the meet a pair of 8' Goertz Flatwire speaker cables with Rhodium plated nanners. I'm using Goertz for the SRT's and had some extra left over from the install.

    Info here: http://www.goertzaudio.com/contents/en-us/d20_Flatwire.html

Goertz's price with Rhodium (which is what I believe I have) plated nanners is $300/pr. terminated. I also have 4 of the spades which would allow you to have nanners on one end and spades on the other. Goertz sells those for $26/pr. I can work something out if someone wants the spades.

These cables were terminated at Goertz on one end and I terminated them on the other which is why one end has the heat shrink and the other does not. The copper is insulated so the heatshrink only serves to make them more aesthetically pleasing.

I'll offer the pair for $200 SD Polkie meet price and of course you don't have to worry about the shipping costs. :p. Of course you can demo them at the meet as well. :D

If there's no interest here in the next few days, I'll post them in the FS section of the forum.

I still plan on buying these speakers as long as dpowell is willing to part with his precious baby's.:)

If dpowell does sell his Black fx1000's, then I will sell my pair of Rosewood fx1000's. I would rate these speakers 7/10 in condition...mostly because there is a slight depression on the top of 1 of the speakers. For that reason alone I would sell them for $350. Other than the 1 blemish they are in prefect working condition. (just to keep things in perspective, dpowell is selling his for $450. a pair)

    polkrt5000fx1000blemish.th.jpg

I would rather have my whole set-up in Black, so that's why I want to buy dpowell's instead of keeping the 1 set in Rosewood I have now.
So...If anyone else besides mole' is interested I'll bring them to the meet & you can test them there.

If you guys want I could post some more pics.....

    Reece

i want black aswell but LMK a price

LOL youre going to get me in trouble if you put too many of your toys in my car! I'll be damn tempted to press the gas pedal that much harder :p

Btw, I'll have room if you wanted to take a few things to Doug's since you'll be limited taking the 2.3tl's with ya.

Not sure if the player will still be in my possession but if it is I'll bring it along. I'm bringing along Ben's Silver speaker wire too if we get a speaker wire shootout going :D

    Here's the speaker wire.

Because it's silver, it's prone to bending but it's not hard taking care of cables ;)

Love the quality of these, so just thought I'd share Ben's work for him!

Naw, got them from Brock in a Karma :D

Might karma them off myself later in the future if/when I upgrade speaker cable. When I rebuild a 2-channel rig, I'm thinking I might step it up to MIT Shotgun S3.3 interconnects but still not sure what I'll go with for speaker wire.

The silver stuff though is impressive, I'll bring it over so you guys can all compare! Whatever sounds best to my ears will be on my must-have list for the future rig ;)
