They're totally nailing this show for season 3. How intense was that episode tonight! Good lord!

You don't know what to expect next. When she was holding the baby, I was on the edge of my seat wondering if it would be zombie baby.
    No excuses!

Seriously intense episode. That boy just grew 10 years tonight. I was sad for him and Rick but she needed dieing almost as much as Shane last season. Next on the need to die list.....the Guv'ner!!!

I was kind of hoping to see her as a walker and then taken out by Carl.

I'm kinda curious how that all played out. We HEARD Carl fire the pistol, but we didn't actually SEE him shoot her. We saw her pass out and only assume she died. Where is Carol (Sophia's mom)? She got lost in the jail somewhere. Does she stumble on to her lying there and somehow save her?

Things that make ya go...hmmmm. With the strange twists and turns they are throwing in, I wouldn't put it past them.

Any theory is viable based on what we have seen before
They were very evasive about Carol when asked on Talking Dead

This is interesting. You're saying Carl would rather let his mom bleed out and become a zombie? She's dead and gone either way so I'm not seeing how it matters. Maybe Rick encounters her later? I mean, that would be kind of crazy to see.

I think Carl killed his mother based on his stone face when he walked out, but they left it up to our imagination. Why not keep us guessing? It keeps the show from becoming predictible. They left us wondering about the hidden figure spying on them also. It was probably the convict that Rick pushed into the yard, who didn't die, but we don't know for sure.

Great season already. I thought last season was very slow in the first half but it ended with a bang. This season started out really strongly, but it's going to be tough to maintain that pace all year. Of course, there's a bunch of stuff to play out with the Govenor still.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. Between this show, Boardwalk Empire and Justified I've never seen so many shows that frequently kill of some fairly major characters. Cool!

Rick is pretty spaced out. It could be that no one called and it's just in his imagination. I vaguely remember a movie where someone carries around a disconnected phone and talks to someone long dead. It could be something like that cuz he's really messed up over Lori.

Who could possibly know where Rick was at that time? Even his other survivors don't know where he is at that moment so how could anyone outside the prison know where he is?

It was probably just someone inquiring as to whether or not he was happy with his current long distance provider.

    SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!

I initially waatched the show and thought that the zombie ate Lori's body, which is what the show wanted you to believe i guess. Rick found the shell of the gun but no blood or brains on it. You did see the trail of blood - could Carol (who is still missing) have dragged out the body and nursed Lori back to health, found a phone in the prison and called the room to see if anyone was still alive to come save her and Lori?!?!?!?!?!

I think that zombie would have been a little more bloated if he/she ate all of Lori. She aint that little.

On The Walking Dead, they talked about Lori. I forgot who it was from the show, a writer or director, basically said that she had been eaten. And, I can't imagine that anyone could survive what was done to her, especially in a post-apocalyptic zombie-verse.

I do think that Carol is alive though. Just don't think she had anything to do with saving Lori. And I think they mentioned that they showed the bullet slug so we would know that Carl did indeed shoot his mother.

There's got to be a villain still hiding his face in that prison. Ain't no way the axe-wielding dude in the generator room is the only culprit of the deadly scheme. Somebody gave that dude instructions, and that was why there's an active phone in that room.

Sorry that was supposed to read "On the Talking Dead". Got my Deads mixed up. Which is how the whole zombie apocalypse started in the first place.

Yeah, Chum, I agree. But he's dangerous and obviously a survivor so it could end up with the Gov. in trouble.

Having said that, I am anticipating that in the end, it will come down to Daryl having to make a choice between killing Merle or betraying the group somehow.
