    Well if there's enough interest I'll bring it (it's about 90 lbs boxed up) , uhg my back is already hurting thinking about it. :o

    I've had four AR-5's in the same room using the Dynaco Quadaptor and that is a blast. I had six KLH Model 6 in the same room using an ADS 10 and that was fun. Four Polk RTA11t's in the same room with the Quadaptor was nice. So naturally Lou, I have been toying with the idea of four AR-9's in the same room, maybe with some kind of older Fosgate device. HOWEVER, I think she would toy with the idea of knifing me.

    I imagine results similar to that produced by the Large Hadron Collider. and yeah, I'd say a knife in the Kidney from the wifey has at least an 18% chance of being a reality.

    stay tuned gang, the sis in law's house closing is 8/24, if the second floor clears out, we can have 3-4 rigs (4 is if we do one in the basement, I was mulling over the cellar just being a music free cill out zone as well). I'll pool what people offerred up to bring and finalize plans depending on how things go, stay tuned.

    whatever the room situation is, I can easily say yes to the LSi7's (I already have a set of 9's here in the theater)

    cd player = YES, along with cables.

    speaking of cables.......to ALL members...MARK YOUR CABLES YOU"RE BRINGING. masking tape with your name perhaps? I want to limit or eliminate what could be a missing cable phenomenon!!

    Ok cool, I can't decide if I should bring the knights... Last time they made an appearance, lightman was planning on killing me to steal them so I might be safer leaving them at home.

    I have a request/question. I am still perplexed about vinyl. I haven't given it a true chance yet, but each time, I constantly think that I am missing something. If I can make it, i plan on bringing my TAD 150 Signature preamp with nice phono stage. Will there be vinyl gear that someone can hook up to it to showcase it? In particular, I would love to hear recordings that are both on CD and Vinyl so we can hear an A/B comparison.

    Hopefully there are vinyl peeps that are already planning on doing this. Thanks,

    Understood. I am so torn on this.......I'll see how they fly in the new audio room (when my sis and brother in lawn move out) Either them\Carvers or going, or the Anthem gear ... I've got way too much stuff here. the new room will also be a music studio and gaming area, so I have reasons to not have a ridiculously huge 2 channel.

    either way, I (or anyone else) is a better audiophile for owning these bad boys.

    Ant, sounds like a plan. The CRS's can go wherever I put the bookshelf rig, though I am sure I will have to check with RUssman if the Anthem is common ground. I have extra amps if it is not.



    nothing solid on the AR9's genuinly on the fence kids...but Troy is right on first crack, was part of our original deal.

    Don't forget, I might decide to part with the Plats before the AR9's. I can say that a certain Melos Preamp could grease some wheels.....I know it's a long shot, but shame on me if I didnt throw it out there ;)

    Along w/ my AAD 2001 monitors I'll also be bringing my newly acquired Mapleshade Double Helix speaker cables with the PLUS upgrade (they're breaking in as we speak). So far they sound pretty darn good!!!
